Hotel in zona CBD, Melbourne

I stayed at 3 hotels all near Flagstaff stations for this trip, just to try something new and compare. Excellent location and the Flagstaff garden is at the opposite. The Pegasus has a real kitchen and utensils since it's an apartment hotel. No view at all but it's ok for a night's stay. The bed is so soft but so as the Radisson and the Jazz hotel so I guess it's the standard?.. Staffs had reasonable service, but I overheard the guest in front of me checked out 30mins later than he should and the staff were not happy about it at all, like teacher talking to a misbehaved student. Overall it's price for money.

Nonostante questa proposta, abbiamo avuto un soggiorno molto confortevole e piacevole grazie al grande servizio, spazio ampio e buone strutture.

The hotel is very new and located right in the heart of the city — an excellent location. Security is good, and we received a warm welcome upon arrival. The room is spacious and features a sustainable design, though no toothbrushes are provided. However, the management could use some improvement. We noticed that the body wash had run out but wasn’t refilled during our stay. Upon checkout, the staff called to say I had checked out a day early, which was confusing since I had already completed the checkout process. We had to return to the hotel to resolve the issue, which turned out to be a mix-up with another guest’s record

Overall I had a great stay! My room was pretty cozy and the location was conveniently close to trams and Souther Cross Station. Amenities in the room were excellent (kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, heater, ironing board). Maybe bring your own slippers in winter as the tiled floor was very cold in the morning. Quite a few obvious wear and tear but overall still decently clean. The only thing that bothered me was one of the kitchen utensils was still dirty. If you are a light sleeper you would need earplugs as it’s quite noisy from the trains and trams passing by. Personally i enjoyed the background noise. I enjoyed my night ins in the room with access to the TV and to be able to cook / heat up food. Staff at the reception were all very lovely and welcoming. I would stay here again :)

Sono tornato giù e ho chiesto a mia moglie di venire giù. Ho sbattuto le carte sul bancone e mi hanno consigliato di procurarmi una stanza in cui le chiavi di accesso funzionano effettivamente. Ci siamo seduti. Dopo 15 minuti ho avvisato che la vita era troppo breve per mangiare per loro. Dovevamo pranzare e saremmo tornati tra 30 minuti. Se non risolto entro allora, sarà l'ora del Manager. Sono tornato, nuove carte, nuova stanza ed eravamo dentro, Avanti, password Wi Fi. È in TV, no, non lo era. Torno alla scrivania che l'ha scritto, lo ha scritto, non andare. Tornati alla scrivania ancora una volta, inseriscono la password Wi-Fi. Questo è stato fatto domenica. Lunedi. La signora alla reception si è scusata e ci ha dato l'aggiunta pomeridiana al parcheggio che ci ha evitato di correre in giro e ci ha permesso di pranzare prima di partire da Mel CBD. Ottima posizione, personale amatoriale in servizio la domenica.

Abbiamo prenotato l'hotel da trip.com che è stata la migliore decisione che abbiamo preso per assicurare un posto a Melbourne. Il suo facile, conveniente e offrono un prezzo affidabile rispetto ad altri siti di prenotazione. Best Western Hotel, il suo 5/5. La struttura è molto attraente, e sicuramente prenoteremo di nuovo per il prossimo viaggio a Melbourne.

The stay was a great disappointment. The basic amenities were not maintained properly. It was winter the temperature was below 10 degrees celsius the living room window latch is faulty resulted in slightly ajar and cold wind leaking into the room we tried to close the door between the living room and bed room to prevent the leaking cold winds blowing into the bed room but too bad the door was faulty it could not close. Few other amenities were faulty the living room TV got no signal and the bed room safe is faulty not able to lock. We reported this and asked for a room change unfortunately they told us the room was fully booked they will have someone to fix the faulty amenities for us. But I got to give credit to them, they did remedy the faulty windows latch and door, also fix the TV signal when we are back in the late evening. Well, it's not the guest responsibilities to pre check the basic amenities and the hotel management should have SOP replacement plan for contingency like this and not have a sellout room. For me I would not stay again for sure. Thanks.

L'hotel è arrivato presto e la nostra stanza non era disponibile. Seduto nel check-in in zona per un'ora perché eravamo troppo stanchi di volo a occhi rossi. E il personale di gentile uomo ci ha offerto un aggiornamento gratuito per poter controllare la nostra stanza prima. Abbiamo riuscito a prendere un po' di sonno prima di uscire. L'hotel era pulito e la posizione era eccellente. La stanza era spaziosa, ma l'arrangement era un po' strano come si può vedere dalla posizione del bacino. La pressione dell'acqua è bassa e uno specchio corporeo completo sarebbe bello. In generale, buon hotel e grazie al personale che ci ha lasciato controllare in anticipo.

Stayed at Ibis Kingsgate for two weeks as I was here to celebrate my birthday. It is my second time staying here; I also came here last year for two weeks and for my birthday! The hotel is located within a good and safe area - which is great for solo travellers such as myself. I’ve seen families at this hotel too. Ibis Kingsgate is within the free tram zone (you can take the 86 or 96), with access to many amenities nearby such as Coles, Woolies, Southern Cross Station (great for when you have to catch the SkyBus), My Chemist, and a range of food and cafe options. Located at the cross junction of King and Bourke St, the hotel is also walking distance to other popular streets such Elizabeth, Queen, Williams, Colins, Lonsdale, La Trobe, and more! Flinders is nearby too, and you can just cut across to Southbank as well! In fact, you can even walk to Lygon, Docklands or even as far as Collingwood, which I did! If walking is not your thing, there are also many options for trams, trains, and buses near this hotel. Room is adequate and clean, with a nice range of television channels. There’s a fridge, kettle and tea/coffee which is occasionally refilled. Bathroom is good too; sufficient and spacious enough, and for some - there’s even a window in the bathroom! The hotel staff are nice and it’s always great to be back. Thank you for the room upgrade, it made my trip even more special. I returned the gesture by keeping the room as clean and tidy as possible. ;p Until next time! See ya later!
