I stayed here the other night on my way to Indiana. I wouldn’t call the place a dump, but I wouldn’t call it a nice place, either. The price was affordable, yes. Check-in was easy, but the desk staff weren’t terribly welcoming. “What’s your name, place your card here, sign here, stairs are over there, breakfast at 6/coffee is 24 hours.” Nothing terrible, but also very stand-offish. The room was not great. The beds are in serious need of updating, as in you sleep on a noticeable angle because the mattress has worn down so much from where everyone else has slept. The ironing board was downright dirty: I used a towel I had packed to act as a buffer. The A/C worked but was loud. The bathroom was fine but the shower had lots of cracks in the ceiling. To top it all off, on my way out (I had to leave very early in the morning), I went to turn my keys in and the staff person was flat-out asleep at the desk. They looked very comfortable so I decided to just leave them alone, but c’mon…not a good look. So, yeah, it’s not horrible. However, it could be better. It’s in a good location (outside of IC but really close, yet also away from the craziness that is Coral Ridge Ave, but also very close to the interstate) and you have Old Chicago literally right there. The price is pretty good. It’s just a shame that so many things have been allowed to go bad.

La mia stanza era molto pulita e ben decorata.. Check-in facile, bella signora al desk front. Era tranquilla in hotel e la AC funzionava bene considerando che era H_O_T quando ero lì. Mi piaceva questa città. Ho camminato la sera con il mio cane, mi sono piaciuto la maledizione e le tracce intorno all'hotel. La mia stanza non ha profumi, ma la strada è andata e la strada è andata per la strada, perché c'erano persone che si trovavano accanto alla porta laterale fumando. Non ha rovinato il mio soggiorno, ma se siete sensibili al fumo di sigarette, forse è possibile.
