Hotel Regent Grand

They currently have bed bugs. I was there with 10 other friends in a travel group, and 4 of our rooms had bugs in the sheets, towels and walls. When we showed them the manager just told us it was a one off, and handed us new towels and changed the sheets. We left immediately as a group. They were not understanding and were trying to ignore the issue entirely. I would tell everyone to RUN from this place. Their response said it all.

The employees are very nice, friendly. They try to meet your needs but the culture is different. So the food is always spicy; towels, soap, etc are scarce. But all very accommodating. Mattresses and pillow harder than I like but decent. White Towels darker than I like but doable, especially for the money (hotels in Delhi are more expensive than in other cities in India).

Omg- this place is not a 4star. It's maybe 2 star. Horrible smell in all the rooms we booked and no hot water. We told our travel agent that we needed to move to another hotel immediately as the place is poorly maintained. Staff spit in the hotel even while cleaning the apartments. Very noisy and definitely not a place to bring family or have a holiday unless you are back packing or need a room on a tight budget for the night. I am very sure that they have a deal with travel agents as many other guests had told us that their agent recommended this place but given that it's peak season, they cannot move elsewhere. We eventually moved to a 4 star hotel close by which was much much better. We have also stayed at a 3 star hotel in Ayodhya which was far better so I really question the 4 star rating.

Ok hotel, had the basics. Did not feel it felt like a four star hotel. Felt like it needed a renovation. Breakfast was standard vegetarian and ok. First hotel visited in India at the beginning of the holiday. Walked around the neighborhood and found an excellent Kerela restaurant.

Very bad experience and rude behavior of staff bu name Sunil who.is GM of property. Sunil was very threatening and abusive. Do t recommend this property at all. Better to.book any another propert. This property is unprofessional and doesn't worth spending for this property mainly because of unprofessional staff by name Sunil

Group Tour Stay at Regent Grand for 2 nights. Excellent Food ,Staffs and hotel hygiene good. Second floor rooms need a bit small. Need to use as single room only Will come back again Recommend this hotel which is located near katol Bagh market and others.
