We had a terrible experience with a nearby hotel after checking in at 3:00 in the morning, so we decided to move out after one night and moved to the Ritz-Carlton. I called to ask if they had a room available on the morning of our student's graduation - clearly upset and distressed as there were four events that day, and we'd had a terrible night - and Nik, the front of house manager, immediately put me at ease. I didn't see how we could possibly check out of the other hotel, get our bags and car, then check into the Ritz-Carlton and still make all the ceremonies and celebrations. To further complicate matters, I was in a wheelchair, which slowed us down and made getting around difficult. But Nik took care of EVERYTHING! Someone was sent to retrieve our bags, someone went for our car, and everything was in our room once all the events were done. There was even a bottle of champagne and some incredibly delicious chocolates waiting to help us celebrate our son's graduation when we got there that night! The room was spacious and well equipped, and the bathroom was a good size (although the shower is on the smaller side - we've encountered this in other Ritz Carlton hotels as well, but it doesn't bother us at all). Everything looks and feels 5-star at this location! Thanks to Nik and his fantastic team, what started out as an unpleasant start to our trip turned out to be an amazing stay, and we are very grateful! I should also mention that ALL the staff we came into contact with at this location couldn't have been nicer. Their front desk personnel, concierge, valet and outdoor staff are incredibly kind and helpful. What sets a Ritz-Carlton apart from every other 5-star hotel is it's staff; I can't say enough good things about everyone we met. The hotel is centrally located, plenty of Ubers are available, and lots of places to eat nearby. Every aspect of our stay was stellar. Won't hesitate to stay there again when we go back. Highly recommend!! *PS - I'm a terrible sleeper and can't sleep if I can hear the drip of a faucet or ticking of a clock, so if you need peace and quiet, request a room overlooking the courtyard - no noise could be heard at all.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'Hotel Mayflower probabilmente 6 volte negli anni e siamo sempre stati eccitati a stare in questo hotel iconico, ma l'esperienza di quest'anno è stata deludente. La nostra prima stanza era posizionata su un'unità di aria condizionata massiccia che emetteva un suono alto a pizzico tutta la notte. Infine mi sono rivolta a portare i miei telefoni vocali cancellati, ma non ho dormito a partire dalle 3 a.m. Ci trasferissimo in una nuova stanza dopo molta confusione con il personale di custodia, e ho notato il gelato congelato sul giardino e il resto di pasta dentale sul muro del bagno vicino al bacino. Ho dovuto cancellare le superfici che avrei dovuto essere state effettuate con una pulizia approfondita. Mi aspettavo di più ....

I've always wanted to stay at the Jefferson Hotel, and I'm glad we did. The location is excellent, not far from the White House and other sights. The building is very pretty, especially in the immaculately kept common areas. The staff are nonpareil! So helpful, all of them, from housekeeping to the concierge to the front-desk staff to the doormen, and all. The concierge (who also manned the front desk sometimes) and the lady who checked us in gave us a nice restaurant recommendation for Le Diplomate, which we really enjoyed. They gave us help at every turn, too many times to list. The room service at the hotel was very nice indeed, too. We had a breakfast and a dinner, and it was really superb. The dinner had a spectacular hamburger, a salmon tartare, and for dessert, a cranberry-cherry fruit crumble that we thought was out of this world. The truffle mac and cheese was wonderful too. We're very grateful to this hotel for our experience there, and we look forward to returning when next we come to DC!

Ho chiesto alla caldaia di bollire l'acqua, ma è venuto molto veloce. Il servizio di ricezione è disponibile in un'area di servizio con un'assegnazione di 20 USD per camera per notte, ma è possibile compensare con i pasti all'hotel. Il desk front also provides bottled water FOC upon request. Overall an ok stay.

Beh, era carino... ma la TV. Non ha funzionato e quando ho chiamato aiuto il personale non era informato su cosa fare. Ho detto di dimenticarlo dopo 20 minuti di scambi sul fatto che l'avessi spento e riacceso o meno. 🥲 Ero letteralmente bloccato a guardare i western in bianco e nero 😑. Il che sarebbe fantastico se fossi mio nonno. Inoltre, non so che tipo di parole dolci ha fatto il mio ragazzo o se la giovane donna ha pensato che fosse un uomo o cosa, ma in qualche modo è riuscito a fare il check-in in anticipo con le mie informazioni! Il che è carino in un film, ma nella vita reale e se fosse uno stalker! Ero così arrabbiato che nessuno ha nemmeno chiamato per chiedere se avevo qualcun altro sulla prenotazione! È uscito per farsi valere la macchina, quindi non ha avuto la possibilità di farmelo sapere. Sono arrivato e mi è stato detto che qualcuno si era già registrato per me! La giovane donna si è scusata, il che è stato carino, ma non ha alleviato il fatto che abbia preso una decisione ignorante e pericolosa. Come ho detto posto carino solo un po' deludente per quanto riguarda i servizi. La mia recensione riguarda principalmente la TV e la risposta apatica che mi è stata data a riguardo.

La prima stanza aveva un fan molto rumoroso. Mi trasferii in un'altra stanza molto più tranquilla. Ho notato che c'erano diverse piccole questioni con la stanza e li ho messi sul desktop, dove un manager (Keith) mi ha sentito e mi ha detto che avrebbe guardato dentro. Non è successo nulla per correggerlo durante l’intera permanenza, non una nota per dire come o se si correggerebbe; la questione era un anello di pittura o epossi nel bagno, qualcosa che avrebbe dovuto essere pulito al momento della pittura. La seconda questione era la poca organizzazione della luce nella stanza, le lampade erano limitate a piccole zone, non c'era luce di sovraccarico e il bagno era sovraccarico o sottoscura, mentre la zona di chiusura era buia, a meno che non fosse luce di giorno. Poi ho notato che in camera ci sono grandi buchi nelle tende di vetro, non tragiche, ma non in linea con il tenore e il tono di un Marriott Bonvoy. Nel lobby c'era solo un elevatore di servizio ADA che andava dalla strada al livello lobby, che era autooperato, senza istruzioni, senza indicazioni a livello e un po' rumoroso.

This was the second Residence Inn we stayed in during our trip to DC and it was excellent, just like the first one was. It’s conveniently located and very clean. The folks at the front desk are very helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Our room was spacious but the AC was very loud. We had them come and look at it, but it continued to be loud. Regardless, we had a great stay and enjoyed the beautiful walk to Georgetown for dinner.

老酒店，但兩張大床的套房真是非常舒服，有寬敞的客廳、書桌區、餐廳空間、陽台、玄關區，有可以出去的環繞陽台，可以想象幾十年前好酒店的形式感。戶外泳池在夏天很可愛。位置很棒！離動物園和非常幽靜美麗的Rock Creek Park 很近，Woodley Park一帶也有眾多餐廳，距離地鐵站走路5-10分鐘。性價比不錯！服務一般，不同班次的前台人員之間似乎彼此交班不夠通暢。中途給我們換了一個單床套房，房間小很多，沙發床的床墊實在有點爛沒法睡，有些太舊的傢具請及時更新一下吧！
