La mia prima stanza era ok fino a quando le luci hanno iniziato a tremolare e non si spegnevano. Il telecomando della TV ha quindi funzionato male. Così sono andato alla reception e De'Angelo ci ha aiutato. Ha mandato uno staff in alto a controllare. Dopo che l'ingegnere si avvicinò, se ne andò per dire a De'Angelo di cambiare stanza. Così hanno fatto, ma l'unica cosa che avevano a disposizione era una camera declassata, quindi ha inserito alcune note per noi e ci ha fatto pagare una camera con balcone per il soggiorno della scorsa notte. Lui e il personale notturno sono eccellenti ed è qui da poco tempo. Ora il personale diurno d'altro canto era terribile. Sono andato alla reception alle 11 per chiedere informazioni sul nostro upgrade della camera, e mi è stato detto che era in preparazione, ma non siamo stati cambiati fino alle 16:00 circa. Avevamo un itinerario che non potevamo completare a causa dell'attesa del nostro cambio di camera. Abbiamo anche chiesto il servizio in camera per 2 set di posate, e li hanno portati su circa un'ora e mezza dopo, e sono anche entrati nella nostra stanza senza preavviso mentre ero sotto la doccia. Quindi, quando verrai al Watergate, la tua esperienza notturna sarà molto più piacevole che avere a che fare con il personale diurno.

Quite honestly this was the best hotel stay I have ever had! The staff there are awesome and truly care about you- which really shows every time you walk in or out the door. I'd like to thank all of the bellman- in particular, Alexander Garcia, who was warm and extremely helpful both when my Grandmother and I arrived at the hotel and left. Not to mention, the food and service at both the Lafayette and the downstairs lounge was outstanding. 6/5 stars, I will be staying here again on my next trip to DC.

Il tipo di hotel di quasi appartamento, la posizione geografica è molto buona, andare alla Casa Bianca, la sala memoria di Lincoln è un passo di circa un chilometro.Le strutture della stanza sono molto adatte per la casa a breve termine, due letti 1.5 grandi, due scrivanie, vestiti e elettricità della cucina.Il servizio della ricetta dell'hotel è buono e il cancello aiuta a aprire la porta. La carenza è relativamente piccola, non c'è praticamente nessun altro accessorio e non c'è colazione.Il costo del parcheggio dell'hotel è 48 bili per notte, ma 50 metri di distanza, c'è un parcheggio privato, 23 bili per giorno.Vive due notti, soddisfatto.

Nel campus dell'Università di George Washington, è molto tranquillo intorno a due o tre sentieri dalla stazione di fondo della metropolitana Foggy. È molto conveniente. Il pizza del piccolo bar è buono (non è ancora necessario pagare). L'unica domanda è che la prima volta che ho visto la porta principale, ho pensato che la porta posteriore non osasse entrare. Non c'era posto per la camera dopo aver messo il letto, o vale la pena raccomandare

We stayed her for 3 nights at Memorial Day weekend with two of our kids, one college age and one late teen. I chose this property because of the location and room type, which offered a two-bed room for a regular free night level of points. It worked out great! We paid for parking on Friday night in the small hotel lot, and then Saturday morning saw a spot open on the street. We moved the car there and left it parked the rest of the weekend. The metro stop is a very short walk away, right by a Whole Foods. There are many restaurants in walking distance. We even took a long walk back one day from the National Mall, past Vietnam and WWII memorials, all the way to the hotel. The room was clean and the configuration was perfect for us. The breakfast was sp****, they said because they were missing a delivery. That was the only aspect not up to usual Marriott standards. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

La posizione è ottima. Ma il servizio è nella media, la custode della stanza ha persino gettato il mio pigiama sul pavimento quando ha pulito il letto. Sebbene la stanza sia spaziosa, i servizi sono pessimi. Il riscaldamento AC è molto rumoroso nella mia stanza. La cosa peggiore è la qualità dell'aria. Ho starnutito tutto il tempo per tre giorni consecutivi durante il soggiorno; all'inizio sospetto di avere l'influenza o addirittura il covid, ma quando sono tornato a casa tutti i sintomi erano spariti. Era solo nella camera d'albergo che il mio naso mi colava male.

We had a terrible experience with a nearby hotel after checking in at 3:00 in the morning, so we decided to move out after one night and moved to the Ritz-Carlton. I called to ask if they had a room available on the morning of our student's graduation - clearly upset and distressed as there were four events that day, and we'd had a terrible night - and Nik, the front of house manager, immediately put me at ease. I didn't see how we could possibly check out of the other hotel, get our bags and car, then check into the Ritz-Carlton and still make all the ceremonies and celebrations. To further complicate matters, I was in a wheelchair, which slowed us down and made getting around difficult. But Nik took care of EVERYTHING! Someone was sent to retrieve our bags, someone went for our car, and everything was in our room once all the events were done. There was even a bottle of champagne and some incredibly delicious chocolates waiting to help us celebrate our son's graduation when we got there that night! The room was spacious and well equipped, and the bathroom was a good size (although the shower is on the smaller side - we've encountered this in other Ritz Carlton hotels as well, but it doesn't bother us at all). Everything looks and feels 5-star at this location! Thanks to Nik and his fantastic team, what started out as an unpleasant start to our trip turned out to be an amazing stay, and we are very grateful! I should also mention that ALL the staff we came into contact with at this location couldn't have been nicer. Their front desk personnel, concierge, valet and outdoor staff are incredibly kind and helpful. What sets a Ritz-Carlton apart from every other 5-star hotel is it's staff; I can't say enough good things about everyone we met. The hotel is centrally located, plenty of Ubers are available, and lots of places to eat nearby. Every aspect of our stay was stellar. Won't hesitate to stay there again when we go back. Highly recommend!! *PS - I'm a terrible sleeper and can't sleep if I can hear the drip of a faucet or ticking of a clock, so if you need peace and quiet, request a room overlooking the courtyard - no noise could be heard at all.

We've stayed at other five-star hotels, but the luxury, opulence and level of service of this hotel just swept me off my feet. Sometimes my teen daughter feels out of place in ”fancy” settings, but the staff were so welcoming that she was at ease for our whole stay. We were first greeted by the valet Dennis (”Dennis the Menace”). He was energetically welcoming and his smile can't be resisted - you just have to smile back. He gave us bottles of Evian and escorted us inside, where he introduced us to Said at the front desk. Check in was quick and efficient but without feeling rushed. We arrived a bit early and our room was being cleaned, so we sat in the breath-taking atrium and just soaked in the beauty. They had added cherry blossom decorations that were stunning. I have included pictures. I booked a king guest room, but I believe we were upgraded to a 585 sq ft premium guest room, 2 levels up. It was formally decorated and very luxurious, but not at all fussy or overbearing. A very helpful bellman escorted us to our room and showed us some of the features, such as the electronic ”do not disturb” light and the electric curtains & sheers. The mini bar was well-stocked with a variety of liquors and mixers as well as a split of champagne (Veuve Clicqot if I remember correctly). The hotel is walking distance to some of our favorite museums and attractions, but we ended up spending extra time in the room, just reveling in the luxury! The mattress was moderately firm and incredibly comfortable. The pillows were large and soft but supportive for side sleepers. And that oversized bathtub... I want one in my home! I am 5'8” and my feet did not touch the opposite end when I bathed. The water came almost to my shoulders. And Frette bathrobes afterwards was such a thoughtful touch! We ended up not using the shower, which was the size of a regular hotel's entire bathroom and was equipped with both an overhead shower head and a hand-held sprayer. I booked the room too late to go to tea or the spa, but I did peek in on both. I almost wish I didn't because both were so enticing. We had breakfast delivered to our room and it was delicious. We did not hear any noise outside our room. There are plenty of outlets for plugging in multiple chargers. Check out was equally smooth and efficient. A bellman arrived within minutes of my request. Said processed the checkout and remembered that we were traveling for my daughter's 17th birthday. Recalling that kind of detail impresses me that he was actually listening when we chatted at check-in. Dennis was outside again when we left. He gave us fresh bottles of Evian while our luggage was being loaded and sent us on our way with smiles. If we return to DC, staying at the Waldorf Astoria again will be our obvious choice!
