Emmanuel Church Apartments

The reservation system for this set of flats is a complete shambles at the moment. The flats are being double booked and the wrong keys left in the lock boxes. No one is on hand to sort out the confusion and the management don't get back to you for days. We (my two children and I) arrived on Thursday 21st after 6 hours on the road to find the flat we'd booked already occupied by another family. They had found that their flat was double booked. We managed to find an empty flat, luckily, in the same building, and stayed there, formalising the arrangement a couple of days later, once I'd finally had a call back. However, on the last night there, another group arrived and let themselves in to our flat just as I was getting out of the shower and the children were asleep upstairs. It was a dreadful shock. They had found no key for the flat they'd booked, but only a second one for the flat we were in! They were then stranded with nowhere to stay. Although the flat was fine and reasonably clean and comfortable, I couldn't possibly recommend it because of this total confusion.

Didn’t get to stay, as they have cancelled my booking for no reason, no doubt because they have realised there is now an event on that weekend and they can sell the room for far more than I paid. I note from other reviews this is a common occurrence.
