Lose the wax paper in plastic serving baskets. I love the food in here. However, I don’t enjoy the wax paper at the bottom of a plastic basket. Food is amazing though - especially the hot dogs. Beer not too bad either. Worth a visit for sure, burgers & loaded fries good too

Excellent location, comfortable room with separate entrance from the pub, friendly staff. No parking but very cheap parking 2 minute walk around the corner, nice beer garden. Would definitely stay because it is very dog friendly and a comfortable place to stay.

Ordered the burger of the month as a takeaway and it did not disappoint, the staff were lovely when helping me decide what to order, I would highly recommend. Will definitely be coming back. Excited to see what the next burger of the month will be.

We stayed at the Town Arms Waddingford for a night away break, the staff where very welcoming and the rooms where very clean and well presented. A really nice and central based pub. We had lunch and breakfast there and it was perfect. We will be back 100%.

Comfortable slightly quirky room with everything you need. Good WiFi, good beer, beer garden, excellent personal service and breakfast (not included in price but half price for guests, around £5). On the Thames path and close to town centre. Only downside no parking, although free o/n in nearby car parks.

We had a lovely stay. It is a very relaxed place. We stayed for a night during Wallingford's local Bunkfest (great music!). The hotel is one of the Bunkfest venues which added to our stay. Our room was one of their smallest rooms but was comfortable with lots of extra touches - table fan, kettle, excellent bathroom etc. The welcome was warm and friendly even though they were busy getting set up for Bunkfest. Really glad we chose to go here

The best Sunday Lunch at a Pub in a LONG time! Usually we find with eating a Sunday Lunch out never tops the one you can make at home, however, The Town Arms absolutely smashed it. All the trimmings. Crispy potatoes. The crackling on the Pork was EPIC, gravy was delicious, literally could not fault any of it. Very well priced. Even our fussy two year old thoroughly enjoyed it. We won’t hesitate to go back, the only place we will ever visit for a Roast!

The Town Arms is a good place to stay at a reasonable price. Our room was comfy with a good en-suite shower. Breakfast was great & 50% off for residents made it even better. Staff were very attentive. The Real Ale was excellent!

Greeted with the words we can't do breakfast. No explanation offered and all the confirmations we had received stated cooked breakfast was available . Room very small the bed was uncomfortable and the establishment looked very tired.
