首先位置很好，有一大片酒店專屬海灘，離着輪渡碼頭不遠。服務方面，首先很熱情，但是除了經理和前台，會説英語的人不多，有時會發生誤會。
房間很大，但是設施一般，與房價很不相符。洗澡水的熱水器就是一個小廚寶，剛剛洗一會兒，就變涼水了，第二個人就衹能洗涼水澡，否則要等很長時間。而且洗澡水一部分從花灑出來，一部分從下面龍頭出來，轉換器已經壞了，洗手盆的水龍頭安裝也有問題，開一點點小水流，都會迸濺的到處都是。
餐廳飯菜還可以，衹是我們是含早餐的房間，參加了度假村的觀鳥行程，也通知度假村給留早餐了，回來以後，就是別人吃剩下的了。三天的早餐，沒有標準化，每天的量都各不相同。而且可樂啤酒都很貴，比我們船宿還貴，不合理。
度假村價格貴可以接受，但是希望物有所值，設備運行完好

Personale super cordiale e disponibile, posto bello e in fase di ristrutturazione; le camere sono tutte nuove, grandi e con i condizionatori. Il diving è molto disponibile e divertente, abbiamo fatto 15 immersioni in barca partendo dal villaggio fino ai vari dive point, alcune giornate anche intere con pranzo in barca. La barriera corallina dopo il pontile non è un granché, la spiaggia però è bella e il posto tranquillissimo senza rumori e problemi. La cucina è da migliorare, il buffet non è abbondante e con poche varietà, comunque adatto a chi fa una vacanza diving. Pulizia veramente molto accurata, sia nelle camere, nelle zone comuni che nelle barche. Wifi presente nella zona comune del bar/ristorante. Nel complesso villaggio bello, tranquillo e adatto a chi vuole fare una vacanza diving ma anche per la famiglia che accompagna e vuole stare in tranquillità.

Cibo scadente con pochissima varietà e quantità, i portavivande sono spesso vuoti. Personale poco attento al cliente e alle esigenze del cliente ma sempre pronto a farti pagare gli extra. Queste impressioni sono state condivise con altri clienti provenienti da tutte le parti del mondo. Non ci torneremo.

From our arrival via boat where we were met by Peter the manager to our drop off at the ferry 6 days later, we were welcomed to one of the friendliest most efficiently run dive resorts we have ever stayed with. The staff and rooms were excellent. The food was delicious, varied, and plentiful. The dive operation (Dive into Raja Ampat) is well organized with excellent facilities. Once you first get your gear put into your dive box, you will not handle it again as it is loaded on the boat and set up for you each dive day. Concierge diving at its best! The boats are well laid out with plenty of room for relaxing during transit and between the two morning dives. Daily dive sites are varied and selected to include any guest inputs. Plenty of dive guides meant no more than four divers in a group during our time there. The full day trip with three dives further south to manta point was great and successful. We spent a whole dive watching the graceful giants and saw a couple more on a nearby second dive. On one rest day, we rented a scooter from the resort and explored the island. It was a "like new" scooter at a very reasonable price. We made it to the far end of the paved road and back (about 70 km total) going through small villages and a lot of beautiful jungle that often had encroached over about half the paved roadway.

Waiwo resort is an excellent land based dive resort on Waigio Island, 2 hours from Sorong, in Raja Ampat, Indonesia. The "resort" is run by a very attentive, friendly family, and the Dive part is run by "Dive into Raja Ampat". They work together seamlessly. The resort is small, something like 34 people max, there were 21 when we were there. Beachfront, with lovely old trees providing shade and habitat for birds and cuscus'. The waterfront bungalows (4 in Feb 2025) are worth every penny, with water lapping at your deck front. (how about a little dip in the sea before bed every night?). But the garden bungalows are all very adequate, steps away from the beach. AC is good, beds and bedding are comfortable. My only complaint is no towel hooks in the bathroom, that tells you how perfect everything is. The food is hearty, with good variety, plenty of protein at every meal (egg station at breakfast), and good local and international food. Do use the resort pick up service from Sorong, they will make your trip seamless, getting you onto the ferry, heaving your luggage all the way. There are other topside things to do: the Blue River, and Birdwatching adventures (which we did). The dive business is concierge diving at its finest. you never lift a tank or regulator. they will wash and hang your wet suit and BCD after every dive trip. We never had more than 6 divers to 2 dive masters. Equipment rental is the VERY REASONABLE $13/dive. Equipment is good. No Nitrox available. We had big tanks so that everyone could do 60 min dives. There are 60 or 70 dives sites available. The boats are comfortable, not fancy, but adequate, with bathrooms and roofs. Fruit, cookies, coffee, tea and water served between dives. They will choose dives suited to the weather, guests ability, and try to get everyone good variety. Can't speak more highly of them.

We stayed here for two weeks with our family. The accommodations were great. Everything was spotless. The beds, very comfortable and thankfully they had air conditioning! The food was delicious too. The people there were friendly and so so helpful. We had a fantastic stay! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Truly an amazing place to stay! My friend and I booked the 4-day, 3-night scuba package in a Seaview Macro room at the Waiwo Dive Resort (partnered with the Dive into Raja Ampat scuba shop). Logistics were very smooth. The resort organized pickup and drop-off at the Sorong airport and bought VIP ferry tickets for us for the boat ride from Sorong to Raja Ampat. They also procured the entry permits for the Raja Ampat Marine Park. The food was tasty and varied from day-to-day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all included, and each meal was balanced with soups, vegetables, proteins, and carbs. There was also an a-la-carte menu with juices, beers, and other drinks which were all priced reasonably. Diving around Waiwo is unmatched -- it's simply the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The Waiwo Dive Resort area is serene; even with the other guests around, it truly feels like you have the beach and ocean to yourself. Sonly, Ricki, Arkhil, and the other divemasters in the Dive into Raja Ampat shop are knowledgable, friendly, and kind. We saw all sorts of sealife, from manta rays to giant turtles to pygmy seahorses. The staff at Waiwo (led by Peter) was phenomenal. From the kitchen to housekeeping, each member of the staff is communicative and genuine. Our beds were made each day and the floors were cleaned, even as we tracked sand into the room after our long days of diving. They referred to us exclusively by name, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Not to mention, our stay was considerably more cost-effective than other options like Meridian or Raja Ampat Dive Lodge. We will 100% be back to stay at Waiwo and dive in Raja Ampat! P.S. As a disclaimer, there's only wifi in the common restaurant area and not in the rooms. However, we were here to dive and it was easy enough to walk to the common area to use the internet!

Waiwo Dive Resort on Waigeo Island is a friendly and relaxing spot for divers who prefer not to be on liveaboards. It offers easy access to the famous Raja Ampat dive sites, usually just 20 to 40 minutes away. The attentive dive team handles your gear and prepares you for each dive, with trips starting at 8:30 am for two morning dives and an optional afternoon dive at 2:30 pm. Enjoy delicious buffet or a la carte meals in clean, comfortable rooms. For affordable, high-quality diving, Waiwo Dive Resort is a hidden gem.

Highly recommend this dive and snorkeling resort. The most exquisite house reef, and breathtaking scenery! The accommodation is comfortable clean and has ac, crisp and clean linen and bedding really well managed and kept. The staff were all friendly kind and professional one can tell they too love it here. The bar and restaurant is also top notch and the service as well as the food world class. Also the best diving of my life the dive crew delivers in all aspects and they are passionate and proud about their beautiful marine life. Absolutely THE place to stay when diving Raja Ampat
