A good budget friendly introduction to India. The rooms are clean, beds are firm but comfy, pillows were great; the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is compact but ample. The Dosas deserve a special mention as they were fabulous as was VJ.

I will give a five star review for my stay , but will also highlight a small inconvenience.. Room : Quality is really good with all necessary amenities, and most importantly, it is clean and regular housekeeping is done . Location : Location is a bit strategic , as though it is near to the beach , but to go to the most happening place in RK beach , you need to walk a bit . Though some street food vendors and restaurants like Paradise is nearby . Service : Surya was someone , who was available everytime whenever we needed him for any service . He was an ever smiling person and always tried yo help . Food : We only had the complimentary breakfast here , and it was more than enough which included idly, upma , breads , tea/coffee , corn flakes , dosa , omlettes/eggs . The service was also really good . Frontdesk : Usha was really helpful . She also arranged for a cake and cookies ***** with a greetings card and flowers in the Christmas Eve for us , which was complimentary from the hotel , and I felt it was really a wonderful gesture by the hotel authorities and which also brought a personal touch during our stay . At last , I will make a short complain as well for a specific person in the front desk , though I don't want to reduce my rating just for this incompetent and dishonest person . There was another person in the front desk other than Usha , who tried to mislead and misguide us from the very beginning and normally that person was in the night shift . When we checked into the hotel , he tried to accommodate us in a twin bedroom, where we clearly mentioned during our booking that we need a room with king bed . Now , when we told him that he clearly said this is the last room available and the rest are occupied. We were a bit surprised and told that then we need to think of moving out to another hotel, and suddenly a room with a king bed appeared vacant from nowhere within just two minutes . Next , we thought of taking a conveyance from the hotel for vizag city trip and requested that guy to help finding a auto . For the spots that we mentioned , he claimed Rs. 6000 , where as we got an auto without burgaining at 3000 , which is half the ammount that he asked . Also , an AC Swift desire for the same spots told the rate of Rs. 4000 . So it seems how much profit he is making by fooling the customers . Finally , on the last day , this guy told me that I need to check out by 11 am . Upon confronting him that in the email it was clearly written that the check out time is 12 PM , how is he asking me to get out at 11 , and then he admitted and said that it is okay if I leave by 12 PM . Though I had planned to take lunch from the hotel and hire a airport drop from them , but this guy's poor attitude and misguiding words stopped me to do so and I left the hotel at 11.45 am . During my exit , I informed Usha regarding this small issue , and she assured that they will train the person . She also requested that I can stay back at the hotel till my ca
