l'Auberge de la Fontaine

We stopped here overnight en-route to Provence. It was a good choice, pretty close to the autoroute and with a couple of petrol stations in the nearby village on Rolampont so you can fill-up without paying Autoroute prices! The hotel was charming and we had a room in the annexe which is about 50 mts up the road. The room was a good size and perfectly comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was very tasty, if not sophisticated, and was very good value. The Strawberries that I had for desert were divine. Almost the highlight of the stay was the appearance of the flock of Geese who marched up the road to the hotel demanding bread! Duly fed, they just sat down in the road and had to be treated as a roundabout by passing traffic. Judging by the other photos on here, this was not a one off occurrence. The only real drawback is that check-in is not until 17.30 and there is little else around if you are early. However, I would definitely use it as a stop-over again

We often stay here on our trips to the Alps, again did not disappoint. Comfortable rooms, large, clean, comfortable bed. We again opted for the evening meal in the restaurant/bar, a very social and friendly space to spend the evening. The village is very quaint and worth a stroll around.

We stayed here as a family of four (two children 2/8) on the way back home from a two week holiday. The village is super cute, very French! The accommodation was lovely. The staff friendly and the food/beer In the restaurant very nice. I would recommend to family and friends and would visit again myself.

Excellent Nous étions 5 Cyclistes hébergés à l’auberge de la Fontaine Villiers sur Sauze en demi pension pour 2 nuitées Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres,bien insonorisées ,bien équipées et la literie de grande qualité, elles sont situées à 50 m de l’auberge dans une rue on peut plus calme.Les petits déjeuners complets sont servis dans une salle à la déco originale Quand au restaurant,les plats sont copieux,choix entre 3 entrées, deux plats, plateau de fromage et 3 desserts , on s’est régalé dans une ambiance de café de village, on a adoré. Le patron comme les serveuses sont très sympathiques

Accueil charmant, excellente cuisine, choix entre plusieurs entrées et plusieurs plats pour un prix modique, vins régionaux, terrasse ombragée et, cerise sur le gâteau, le spectacle des oies venues quémander un peu de pain. Une excellente adresse, que je recommande.

L’accueil de cet hôtel se fait au restaurant situé à 50 mètres. Le personnel est sympathique et souriant. Les chambres sont bien équipées. La literie est impeccable. Le wifi fonctionne parfaitement. Le repas de la soirée étape est bon et copieux. Le petit déjeuner est bien achalandé.
