Some places are simple, yet they a Soul. This is hat we felt on arrival and during our short stay. Charming and very friendly owner. Highly recommend it, and is walking distance from the magnificent ruins of Cucufato

The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived later than we had told the host, but Pedro was waiting for us and appeared within seconds of us getting out of the car. He explained everything and even showed us how to work the shower (which is lovely). The breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and home made preserves, was simple and perfect.
We had a little terrace with two chairs, overlooking the vineyard, where we would watch the sunset and stars. The only thing that could have improved the experience, would have been a small light table to put drinks on.
There was a complementary bottle of water and a bottle of the vineyards wine, which was a lovely touch.
If you want a peaceful stay, this is the place to be. Thank you Pedro.

This was an incredible stay in the Alentejo region. We were looking for something close to the Cucufate ruins and this was right next door. In addition the hosts were lovely, accommodating and gracious. We learned about the ancient winemaking techniques using amphora, tasted the wine and really enjoyed the peaceful site on the vineyard. The breakfast featured wonderful touches including preserves made from fruit grown on the property. The rooms were modern, very comfortable and extremely well appointed.

Great location for those with cars or bicycles. Hosts provided local information that was either historically fascinating or super useful. There is a 1,200 year old olive tree on the property, a special orange species in their grove (wonderful orange juice), and we experienced very many facets to their warm welcome in our 2 night stay. This included making a special bean dish for breakfast for a vegan.

Ótimo para estadia curta e no interior. Ao lado das ruínas Villa de São Cucufate. O casal de proprietários são muito atenciosos e educados! Recomendo como experiência na fazenda
