DO NOT STAY HERE! We checked in and the door lock immediately did not work well. The door was very loose and shaky and from the inside it felt that it was not securely closed. Then, once we exited the room the lock would not open! We were locked outside of the room even though the door blinked green. The hotel desk clerk had to assist us and experienced the same problem, although the door would sporadically open. The desk clerk refused to put us in a different room for the night saying the only possible solution was to ask a "technician" to look at the door - which was not sufficient as we wanted it fixed, not looked at. The hotel itself felt cold and unwelcoming. The rooms and hallways are extremely bare giving the hotel the feeling of a dorm or hostel. There is no warm ambiance and it felt a little creepy. We did not feel safe in this hotel. I have stayed in ibis before in another city and it was nowhere at all like this terrible experience. We checked out only 1 hour after checking in and went elsewhere to a different hotel locally. The desk clerk refused to offer us a refund.
