Went there for dinner in our way to Baddeck. There was only one other couple there when we got there. The server was pleasant. Brought us water and took our order. We ordered their special appetizer Burrata which was quite good. However, my wife ordered the scallops ( $26 ) and I ordered the Malabar Coconut Curry shrimp( $32 ). There were three small scallops which were still frozen(cold) inside. My curry had no hint of curry nor coconut milk. It was more like tomato paste with four small shrimps. Quite underwhelming. We sent the scallops back but it took over 20 minutes and no scallops. We decided to cancel the scallops , paid our bill and left unsatisfied.

After spending the weekend at the keltic lodge I am sadly very disappointed. My husband and I ate supper there at the restaurant and the food took ages when it was not busy at all, and every server had their faces in their phones. Safe to say I ate dinner elsewhere for the remainder of my trip. Our rooms were adequate but for the price you’d expect more. The only place that was not disappointing was the spa I had 2 lovely services and was able to de compress after the disappointment from the previous night.

This is a really well located property, there are lots to do and to see in and around the hotel area. The views surrounding this place are just gorgeous. Food at the Arduaine was amazing and reasonably priced.

My husband and I attended the New Years Gala this year at the Keltic Lodge. The room was beautiful and very spacious. From the delicious buffet supper, great music to get everyone up dancing, to champagne and fireworks. I couldn’t have spent my New Years any better. I would recommend the Gala to anyone and we will definitely be back.

Great staff, comfortable rooms. We took advantage of a ski package that offered exceptional value. Location is stunning. Musical entertainment by Nathon Bishop MacDonald was far beyond expectations. Food is passable.

We stayed on the second floor of the main lodge. The walls are thin and we could hear everything from the next room. Down to the opening of bottles. The door to the hall lets light in all the way around it. On the second night the ghost of Julia Corson came into our room! But left before I could talk to her

Place is beutiful. Food was great. However they accidently put another charge on our credit card. Eventually returned...but with no aplogy....and with tourist tax witheld...even when I pointed out that it didn't make sense, be it a small amount.

It is such a beautiful place! The environment is excellent and the view magnificent. The staff were hospitable and enthusiastic! This is our highlight of our trip to Cape Breton! Definitely will come again!

Keltic Lodge is well located on the Cabot Trail. We enjoyed the great view of the ocean from our clean and comfortable room. Also enjoyed the amenities offered as well as the proximity to the Midland Trail.
