Das Hotel liegt wieder mitten in der Stadt, ist aber gut erreichbar. Großer Raum neben dem Hotel zu speichern Fahrräder. Sehr freundlicher Empfang bei der Ankunft, mit sofort eine ganze Liste von Restaurants für jeden Geschmack und Geldbeutel. Unser Zimmer war dringend renovierungsbedürftig, Teppichboden nicht in gutem und sauberem Zustand. Die Jalousien waren kaputt. Eine sehr altmodische Dusche, die nicht wirklich komfortabel war. Mini-Tür zum kleinen Bad. Die Betten sind auch nicht von bester Qualität. Wir haben auf der Seite der Terrasse geschlafen und es war ziemlich laut, auch weil wir wegen der Hitze die Fenster öffnen mussten, sonst war die Hitze unerträglich. Schwimmbad war außer gebrauch wegen ein fehlendes Teil. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, vielleicht nicht so umfangreich wie in anderen Hotels, aber ausreichend. Eierspeisen wurden à la minute frisch für einen zubereitet. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Hotel selbst hat mir gut gefallen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, die Bar ist auch schön. Auch das Zimmer an sich ist nett eingerichtet mit Sessel und Fernseher und einem kleinen aber schönen Duschbad. Das Bett ist allerdings nicht nur sehr niedrig, was das Aufstehen sehr erschwert, sondern die Matratze ist auch sehr weich bzw. durchgelegen, so daß nicht an viel Schlaf zu denken war. Sehr schade.

Ich habe vom 16.08.zum 17.8.2022 im Hotel übernachtet, das Zimmer war gut, der Service ebenfalls; sehr enttäuschend war das Frühstücksangebot, es war ärmlich und dafür sehr teuer. Im Saarland bekommt man bei einer weitaus größeren Auswahl für diesen Preis noch einen Cremend dazu. H.Gerstner
