My family and I attended a concert at the Ventura Music Hall. It’s a 5-minute walk from White Caps! Super convenient since we didn’t have to find a parking spot at the venue. Everything you need- the beach, Main Street, Ventura Botanical Gardens- is a 4-5 minute drive from here. Super easy to get to off the 101. The newer-updated rooms are just as shown on the website. For the convenience and cleanliness of the motel, the price was also amazing!

One can tell that the new owner/management has put a lot of money and TLC into this property. This is a motel designed for beach-goers: easy-to-clean floors instead of carpets for sandy clothes to be laid, a simple design with a comfortable bed, and an ample shower to get the sand off. This isn't a full-service place: it is a quiet, comfortable and clean place to spend the night either while passing through Ventura like we were or being a beach bum for the weekend. It's an easy drive up East Thompson to go wherever one would want to in Ventura.

It was the most modern and clean property interior with an incredibly comfirable bed I've stayed in for the past 5 years. We travel alot , we usually stay in hotels, this motel was a find.
We will definitely stay again, if you are looking in Ventura close to downtown & the harbor this is the spot for you.

Great lil chic motel located within walking distances to the many great eats and drinks including the ocean. Stop in across the street for a clean hair cut or do your laundry a few establishments down. Great host. Highly recommend.

Newly renovated. Modern, neat, and clean inside. Someone had used the toilet prior to us receiving the room. Also... one bug on the floor... but likely one that crawled in under the outside door. The room was extremely clean... so no evidence that cleanliness was a factor. I do wish this place had a mini-fridge... but that's my fault for not confirming beforehand. I would stay again for short trips in which I don't need a fridge.

Great find. Rooms are fully renovated. Very unexpected from the outside. Friendly family running the place. Amazing restaurant across the street.
