Keys need to be collected at Hestasport Reception (navigation). It is a drive away from the cottages!
We arrived late night (after first making our way to the cottages and realising that reception was at another location) however was cheerfully met by reception and a very friendly dog! 😊
Pleasantly surprised to find unit aesthetics exceeding our expectations irl. It was comfortable and cosy.
We managed to soak in the hot tub after an early breakfast as we were too tired and too cold when we checked in. It was amazing, though slightly windy it wasnt as cold as we had expected. We also managed to catch a beautiful sunrise. Definitely recommend early morning soak as it is calm, quiet and most probably less popular time.
Hope that you will have an awesome time at Hestasport as we did!

Our stay here was amazing! It was SO clean, quiet, and private. The communication with the host was fantastic and the cabin exceeded our already high expectations. The hot tub was perfect despite -8 degree C weather, and the northern lights made a spectacular unforgettable experience.

Reception person is very delightful! Cottage was very clean, well stocked and spacious. Beds excellent, local thermal bath (right outside the cottage) is wonderful!

Cottage was large and comfortable. We really enjoyed the windows on all sides, so we had a view of everything. The hot tub in the center was great. Rob’s and clogs are provided. This was our favorite property of our 7 day trip.

Hotel hot spring made my day. After a tiring journey sitting in the hot spring was the best part. Very cute cottages. A must visit.

These cabins with their private geothermal hot tub are an oasis of paradise! Would stay there again and again and again, no question!

This was the most expensive place we stayed in Iceland but also the best. The cabin was terrific and comfortable, the hot springs delightful, and the horse ride we booked at a discount was terrific. We really appreciated the attention to recycling and the good communication with the management.
