Staff are always nice .... I didn't stay here this date as mixed up the dates

That night arrived a bit late like just a bit over midnight, and was so cold , the check-in staffs let me wait outside of the office for almost 20mins treated me like a convenience store. I just feel that’s unacceptable, It’s not like a convenience stores pay and go, he kept me waiting outside for 20 mins with -1 degree cold. Also, the room is like the pics , everything in the room are so old, heat was not warm enough, TV is not working too. If I knew it’s like that, I wouldn’t have booked for sure, would pay a bit more to get a better one. I was so pissed that waiting for checkin outdoor under that cold weather

È stata una esperienza TERRIBILE. Ho dovuto farmi cambiare la stanza perché dentro la prima vi erano ragni ad ogni angolo, doccia compresa. La seconda era comunque sporca con macchie sulle lenzuola e capelli (che non potevano essere miei visto il colore), sedie interne col rivestimento sporco, insetti ovunque. Ma il dulcis in fundo erano i topi che popolavano ovunque l’esterno della struttura e che di notte allietavano gli ospiti con le loro corse e gli allegri squittii. Preciso che i proprietari erano al corrente della situazione infatti si sono fatti una risata quando gli abbiamo fatto notare dei topi. In conclusione non fate l’errore di prenotare in un posto del genere per risparmiare qualche dollaro, è stata un’esperienza TERRIBILE.

Its cute on the outside, but not the inside!! I don’t know where their website photos came from, but my room did not look like the ones in the pictures! No amenities in the room - no coffee maker or kettle. Shower was leaking, paint peeling. There’s no A/c but they could at least open the windows ahead of guests and lower the temperature and humidity! The ceiling fans allow for some sleep.

Eclectic old-fashioned motor hotel in a central location. Clean rooms, nostalgic architecture and decor, comfortable beds, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well priced and accessible. This motel has a colourful history of movie and TV shows filmed there: check Google and the collection of photos in the lobby! It even has its own jigsaw puzzle (a hard one)! There was a lovely playful dog across the fence outside the kitchen door. We spent a night here on the way to a special occasion and will definitely be back.

I left a $200 damage deposit which is normal. However, on checkout I mentioned that I spilled a few drops of soy sauce on the sheets and that it will wash out. The clerk said soy sauce doesn't wash out (ridiculous) and that they had to charge me $152.75 (!!!) for the damage, Therefore, the actual total charge for a basic room was over $400 and therefore a MASSIVE RIPOFF, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Staff seemed to be trying to help, but it didn’t make up for all of the things that were so, so wrong. Front door had obviously been kicked in at some point & was poorly fixed, the bathroom window was broken and didn’t close, rodent droppings in the kitchen & filled the pull out couch! Front desk refunded half the room rate which I accepted because I was done, but I am very disappointed in the experience. Booked on motel’s website based on photos, but what we checked into was not what is shown!

As nostalgic as this place is, its time to go. At first sight I could tell this was not somewhere anybody should be staying for the night or any length of time for that matter. I have confirmed with front desk people are actually living here. Not to put down on the less unfortunate, but if the city has been involved to make this a place for people in these circumstances then it should not be available as a bnb or just even a place for travellers to stay at. I have soooooo many other things to stay but I don't have the space to write an essay. To put it in a few words, shut this place down or make it 100% for government assisted to live in. In no way shape or form should this place be able to advertise as a bnb, or motel room to stay in for travellers even if was a $1 a night. It is not for anybody who works for a living and earns a pay check. Needless to say we did not stay here. Felt very unsafe, rooms are not what pictures show, users of all substances clearly in view. Help get this place get removed from any chance of having travellers stay here. Sorry no photos we were in and out so quickly for our sake of safety. I would rather take my chances in the back country in a tent with bears and wolves.

Abso terrible hotel. Dirty room and flooring. House keeping done only once in 7 days. Rude behaviour of house keeping staff. They always say it is not my job. Local authorities must shut down this property

This is a comfortable cozy eclectic motel with a colourful history. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable, suite was clean and spacious, and there was a playful dog in the yard behind us. The staff go above and beyond and are very friendly and personable. We will be back.

Absolutely trashy place, dirty and not cared for, not one of the amenities listed, the pictures do NOT reflect the rooms, the price is way too high for what this place is. It’s clear that they care more about their new electric car charger than they do the property. Do not stay here!

If you are a rodent enthusiast, you'll be delighted. Rats everywhere. I even found a rat poop in my plastic cup in the bathroom. Otherwsie, run! This place has WiFi that's weaker than Moon's gravity, stained carpets and chairs, tar paper on the roofs, torn curtains, unsecured electrical outlets and neighbours that like to smoke pot. When I complained about rats, the shoeless, jaded night manager asked "inside or outside?" I was told the place was sold out (thus, couldn't give me a more decent room for my $ two twenty two) but there were like six cars on the entire property - you do the math who stays there. The TV was unplugged because the sole power outlet in the room had the cable box and a fan plugged in (no AC). No microwave, no fridge, no coffee maker or hair dryer. If it was not for an ancient shower stall and some bathroom amenities, you'd be better off staying next to vanlifers on Jericho Beach. By the way, the towels provided are kids size (not that you'd want kids there). My parking was next to garbage in an alley. Putting colourful benches and chairs on lawns won't hide the fact that this place is filthy and the owner is simply milking it until it burns. But hey, if you have an EV...plug in at the office and get one of their 2400 Motel puzzle boxes, so, you can remember the nightmare.

J’ai passé une nuit horrible ma chambre était sale plein de traces sur les murs le sol collait même pas d’eau chaude une catastrophe!! Ça donne l’impression que le personnel nettoie jamais les chambres ça sentait le renfermé le moisie et la fumée de cigarette à mon arrivée! Jamais je remettrai un seul pied dans cette hôtel!
