Nice size room for a Hotel in Ushuia and the dinner was fantastic. We where in Argentina for 2 weeks and it was one of the best meals I had. Also the host was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back. Also it was very easy to get around from that location using Uber.

I spent four absolutely wonderful nights at this warm and welcoming boutique hotel in Ushuaia. I was traveling with three friends and our two rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The hotel is in a cozy and beautiful house, with a charming dining room, sitting room, game/library room, and a lovely deck and backyard overlooking the gorgeous Beagle Channel. Maia and Sebastian, the owners and your hosts, are terrific, with Maia providing incredibly useful advice for us in advance of our visit. It was our first time in Ushuaia and she was enormously helpful with booking tours and general visitor information. Our transportation from the airport was pre-arranged and included in our reservation and worked perfectly. Sebastian is also a very talented chef. Breakfast is included and consists of both a delicious and varied buffet as well as freshly cooked eggs. Dinner is offered several nights a week and it is definitely worth eating some of your meals at the hotel despite the many wonderful places to eat in Ushuaia. We enjoyed two fantastic three course dinners at the hotel. The food, service, and wine, were all top notch. Sebastian and Maia will also happily recommended restaurants to try and will make reservations for you as well. The hotel is slightly outside of the main tourist area but we walked into town one morning and cabs are both easy to book and inexpensive. It’s actually very nice staying outside the busy tourist area and getting to see one of the city’s residential neighborhoods. I cannot recommended Leyendas more highly especially if you are someone who enjoys a smaller, quieter hotel with great charm and personal service. I would go back there in a minute, and hope to have the opportunity to do so.

The perfect place to stay in Ushuaia. Very comfortable room in a quiet spot away from the busy centre, but taxis are cheap and frequent (US$3 to centre). Excellent breakfast and dinner with great wine at good prices, and best of all an extremely welcoming and helpful host. Lots to do - a coastal walk from the hotel, the very interesting town, and on the road to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Hire a bike from the shop behind the hotel and cycle to the end of the road that started in Alaska!

Tierra de Leyendas is a family-owned and well-managed small hotel which will serve all of your needs in Ushuaia. The proprietors have local roots and are great sources of information about the history of the region, and they will recommend and book activities for guests. One caveat: the hotel is located some distance from the city center, so it is advisable to rent a car for transport.

Tierra de Leyendas Boutique Hotel made our trip to Ushuaia so special. Maia’s attention and help with the booking and local information before we arrived; and Sebastian’s hospitality and amazing food once we were there made for a true welcome into the beautiful home that is the hotel itself. Homemade rhubarb jam at breakfast; swings in the garden for our young son to enjoy; a jacuzzi tub and hot tub to make us feel pampered- all such special touches. Our room was very comfortable- of course with an amazing view- and warm and cozy, although spacious. We ate both of Sebastian’s menus on offer and they were amazing- the planning and creativity behind each meal, as well as the detailed execution and generous portions. We were so glad we booked here for our time in Tierra del Fuego! So many special memories made.

We stayed at the amazing boutique hotel on our way to and from Antarctica! We have nothing but great things to say about this place so unique and beautiful, and the owners are amazing! We ate four or five of our suppers at the hotel -the chef which is the hotel owner is amazing great food, great service, highly recommend that you book in a supper at the hotel! It was by far the best meal we had, in all of Ushuaia! The dessert is to die for!!! The beauty of the area is wonderful. We walked daily down to the water. We really enjoyed the breakfast, and we also loved the beautiful views while eating breakfast! The homemade croissants are so yummy! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Fantastic hotel. Lovely room with great view. Made visiting the local area very easy with his recommendations and booking our taxis and reservations. I hiighly recommend. Lovely walks from the front door for you to walk before breakfast.
