I recently stayed at Hotel Imperial grande for 3 nights. I had booked one family room and paid advance via telephonic booking. We were a group of three adults two males and one female of which the lady and gentleman were brother and sister. We were visiting Ujjain for piligrimage purposes. On arrivel at around 9 pm we presented our IDs. We were flatly told that we would not be accomodated as our names on IDs did not not match. This led to an arguement with the receptionist. On reminding him of the hon. Courts guidelines he connected me to his Supervisor, who agreed to let in the rooms. I am honestly thinking of wrting to the management of this hotel the court guidelines so that innocent tourists are not taken for ride. Also on inquiring with other tourists staying there it was apparent that there was a wedding planned the next day for which they wanted rooms and the hotel was not in a position to book because of full occupancy of family rooms. Hope this helps other tourists.
