Siamo andati per il compleanno della mia ragazza e hanno offerto champagne e cioccolatini gratuiti. Il personale era adorabile e tutti parlavano inglese, cosa di cui siamo grati. La vista della nostra camera era perfetta e la posizione era abbastanza buona per raggiungere a piedi luoghi storici e musei.

We stayed on a Saturday to Monday in June, reception staff let us check in just after 11:30am which was really nice. The room was great and spacious, bed very comfy and large, air con worked perfectly for a hot weekend, the shower was amazing and good power, also the lovely L’Occitane products!! The hotel is modern and clean, good breakfast, lovely lounging bar area outside - although expensive, the espresso martini was a good one and I enjoyed the club sandwich. A couple of times our vodka was forgotten & we were just given soft drinks but they sorted it at the bar, a shame that the cheaper vodka brands were all gone though.. Louise is a good area and also not a far walk to the main grand place central area too. Our favourite restaurant nearby was colonel steakhouse, there are also lots of shops and bars. I wish we stayed more than 2 nights. If we return to Brussels we would definitely stay here again thank you!

Bella esperienza, pulito e tranquillo. È molto comodo prendere il treno in cima alla stazione dei treni. Il personale dell'hotel è professionale ed educato. Ottima colazione! Solo durante il CHECK OUT, a causa del problema di comunicazione del personale dell'hotel, ho dimenticato la colazione che avevo chiesto di fare il giorno prima e ho inviato alcuni drink in camera.Non ci sono state scuse quando la porta dell'armadio del ristorante è caduta e mi ha colpito il piede e la necessità per noi di raccogliere il nostro cibo hanno reso il nostro tempo per prendere il treno molto stretto. Ma in ogni caso, consiglio comunque questo hotel, la maggior parte del personale è professionale ed educato, ci tornerò se ne avrò la possibilità.

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato in questo magnifico hotel sotto Natale e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. La camera era grande e confortevole, dotata di un piccolo balcone; a disposizione asse e ferro da stiro e il necessario per preparare un the o una tisana; inoltre due bottiglie d'acqua gratuite (delicatezza sempre molto gradita in alberghi di questa categoria!); il bagno spazioso con vasca e doccia, accappatoi, ciabatte e ottimi prodotti nel Kit Cortesia. Colazione abbondante e varia sia nella proposta dolce sia in quella salata. Il personale è stato davvero gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo consumato anche al bar: prodotti eccellenti e servizio cortese e veloce. Rispetto al centro città è un pochino distante (circa 15/20 minuti a piedi), ma lo consiglio vivamente!

Séjour d’1 nuit en Janvier 2023 L’établissement fait le choix de conduire une rénovation (bien nécessaire) en restant ouvert. Les travaux occasionnent l’arrêt du chauffage dans l’ensemble de l’établissement. La chambre single n°14 était équipée d’un chauffage d’appoint …. qui n’est pas fonctionnel lorsque l’on n’est pas dans la chambre dans la mesure où l’absence du badge d’accès coupe l’électricité. Au coucher la température est donc glaciale et lit de 80 cm (!), équipé d’une couette à peine plus large ne permet pas de se réchauffer. L’eau de la baignoire ne s’écoule pas. La poussière est présente partout (escalier de l’accès de nuit, ascenseur …). Le petit-déjeuner n’apporte aucun réconfort car quelques chauffages d’appoint ne parviennent pas non plus à réchauffer la pièce. Des regrets me sont opposés à la réclamation que j’ai formalisée à la suite de cette expérience désastreuse. L’établissement me répond au bout de 5 jours et m’informe qu’aucun dédommagement ne peut m’être accordé prétendant « ne pas être au courant de cet inconfort » et affirmant que dans le cas contraire « ils auraient changé ma chambre ou trouvé une solution satisfaisante (sic) ». A fuir …. au moins juqu’à la fin des travaux

4 of us stayed here in a quad room which was surprisingly very spacious. The hotel is located within walking distance from Bruxelles-Midi Brussel-Zuid train station and bus depot where we caught the Flixibus. At the time the hotel was surrounded in scaffolding and looked like a building site but on entry the inside was clean although slightly cluttered as there was a lot in such a small reception. As you entered, a massive information stand stood separating the reception from the narrow breakfast area. The wooden reception area looked welcoming as lots of plants around and interesting pictures on the wall. Check in was quick & easy. The smallest and oddest lift and I've ever been in took us 2 at a time to the narrow corridors where we found our room. As we entered the room, there was a single bed to the left and the bathroom on the right. Long side the bed was a mirror and at the end of the bed was a chair, a large 5-headed lamp and a desk that held a fridge on one side with a flat screen TV above the desk. The TV could not be properly viewed from the single bed as it was in line with it so it would have probably been best viewed if the TV was placed in the corner for all sleeping areas to view. In front of the desk was a large L-shaped settee which was also wrongly set up to watch the TV as half of the settee meant you had your back to the TV. The settee was used as a bed and situated by a coffee table under a large window that had a city view. To the left of the settee was the large double bed with a headboard that had built in bedside drawers with bedside lamps on each one. Opposite the settee was a large, old-fashioned double wardrobe. There was another window in the room that was small and showed a small balcony which you couldn't access. The mosaic bathroom has 2 sinks with a glass shelf and a large mirror above plus a hairdryer next to them. There was also a bath with a shower hose attached to the bath taps and another small window viewing the inaccessible balcony. We didn't have breakfast but the breakfast area looked clean and basic with a coffee and vending machine and all with table settings for 2. At the end of the breakfast area was a large garden with some artistic statues and at the beginning was a small lounge area with armchairs and a coffee table. The hotel was also located within walking distance to the main shopping, restaurants, bars and club areas.

I stayed at the Best Western Hotel Brussels South when returning from Austria on a coach trip. From the outside none of us were impressed, the building looks very austere, but on the inside it has been done up to a very high standard. The member of staff on during the evening was rather rude, but the morning staff were excellent. The room was clean but had some wear and tear showing. The TV had BBC1 and BBC2 listed as available channels but didn't work when I was there, but did have some random English language channels if you absolutely needed them. The room had plenty of charging points, with 1 USB charger under the TV. The bathroom seemed very new, but the shower head was at a fixed angle which meant a lot of spray went straight onto the bathroom floor. Even arriving latish at night the shower had very good water pressure and heated up quickly. The bed was comfortable, but was two singles pushed together so I did find I graviated to the dip between them. The pillows were fine, not the best but also not the worst. Breakfast here was a little choatic, but not as bad as in another Best Western I stayed in. This hotel had a number of coach trips in, and each was given their own time for breakfast - unfortunately some of the later coaches arrived at the first sitting, so the staff did have to rush around to ensure the food was kept fully stocked, but did so with a very friendly manner - especially considering the way some of the travellers spoke to them. Location wise this hotel is about 2 hours from the ferry at Dunkirk, there aren't really any amenities nearby, but there are two service stations close by if you wanted some food in the evening. I'd certainly consider staying at this hotel in the future, more likely on a weekday when there are no coach trips.

+: 1) La persona di contatto / proprietario è buona. La sua risposta è rapida quando gli abbiamo chiesto alcune domande da WhatsApp. 2) La posizione non è male. Circa 8 minuti a piedi alla stazione di metro e 2-3 ferma alla città. E ci sono negozi e supermercato vicino. 3) La cucina aperta è perfetta.È grande con abbastanza strutture per cucinare. 4) La casa è pulita. 5) Il proprietario ci permette di immagazzinare il nostro bagaglio in cucina dopo aver tornato da un'altra città di notte. -: 1) Viviamo al terzo piano della casa senza ascensore. Dobbiamo portare i bagagli pesanti nella stanza dalle scale strette. Anche se possiamo mettere in cucina, non è conveniente. 2) La stanza è un po' stufa, ma il ventilatore è troppo rumoroso.Non basta aprire la finestra.

Abbiamo pernottato dal 26 al 31 Dicembre. Le camere sono accoglienti e molto carine. Venivano rifatte tutti i giorni con conseguente cambio di asciugamani. Il personale molto socievole e cordiale, sempre pronto ad accogliere le richieste dei clienti. La colazione a buffet molto ricca e variegata, attenta anche per chi ha intolleranze. Zone non molto distante dal centro e dai maggiori luoghtdi interesse, raggiungibili in 15 minuti di salutare passeggiata. Consigliatissimo
