A perfect spot in a beautiful and quiet landscape. Odyssee is a great host and very good cook as well. Houses are well equipped and clean, fridge and kitchen. Well kept garden with lots of birds and flowers. You can walk around between the avocado’s.

We used Granny Dot's as a stopover between the Kruger and Gauteng. It made for a very relaxing break in a beautiful setting. The rooms were very comfortable and the meals superb. The service and welcome we received was top class

Three of us have just spent a fantastic night at Granny Dot's . Charming Estelle welcomed us and showed us around the beautiful lodge. The views are breathtaking and the attraction to detail is fantastic. Our dinner (pork neck and veggies) was excellent. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was 5 star. Thank you very much Estelle and your staff for making us feel so at home...Will definitely recommend Granny Dot's to anyone passing through the Tzaneen area.

We slept one night at Granny Dot's on the 28/05/2022 and enjoyed dinner & breakfast. The hospitality and welcoming by Odyssey, the food that he and his wife prepared and the level of service experienced was absolutely world-class and super enjoyable. I highly recommend this facility in Tzaneen. Beautiful scenery!

Excellent place to stay. Rooms large and clean. Amazing, personal service and attention. Lovely setting. Superb breakfast (was not able to sample dinner unfortunately). Special mention to Odyssey, the manager - he made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Helena and Estelle - we will definitely choose Granny Dot's when next in the Tzaneen area and will certainly recommend to others.

We had a lovely time there. The hospitality, the good food, the beautiful view. It was excellent. We took a hike aroud the estate and visit the surrounding of the Magoebaskloof. We liked the quote 'together live is better'!

Good Rooms, Good Views, Good Food, Excellent hospitality 3km off the main road offers a great trail run loop Pool over looking the valley and river make for a calming time for yourself well worth the drive to experience the tranquillity

I stayed at Granny Dot’s guest house a while back. The view is stunning and the breakfast is so yummy. I want to thank Odyssey, Nana, Godfrey and Phillis for making my stay so comfortable and unforgettable! I hope to visit you visit you again !

From 19 to 20 September 2022 we stayed one night at this very beautiful location. The owners, the manager and the lady from the kitchen did everything to make us feel comfortable and help us find our way. A one night stay is too short for this stunningly beautiful location with great food and good wine. Highly recommended for anyone visiting South Africa.
