Eftalia Holiday Village

I had a wonderful time staying at Eftalia Village, and I want to give a special thanks to GG for her exceptional service! The resort itself is perfect for families, with an amazing selection of pools and water slides that my kids absolutely loved. The beach is just a short walk away, and while it’s a bit pebbly, the water was clean and refreshing. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though a little dated in terms of decor. Everything was kept very clean, thanks to the attentive housekeeping team. The food was a highlight of the stay—there was always something new to try, and the staff was quick to accommodate any requests. But what really stood out was GG’s attention to detail. She was always around to help, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we had everything we needed. Her warmth and professionalism really made us feel welcome. Thank you, GG, for going above and beyond—you made our stay truly memorable!

Been to Eftalia village this year in September we had the best holiday ever, loved the place and the people, the staff, especially GG one of the entertainment girls, she was amazing, very helpful and very nice woman, she made us feel so welcome

Loved our week at Eftalia Village hotel.... Great time, chilled but also so much to do. The staff were all so nice...the waiter's in the restaurant were all great and very helpful. We made a great friend in Baki , he was one of the pool bar waiter's... such a really nice man! Added bonus Eftalia Island ... loads of fun! Hope to come again next year! We came as a family of 6 and we all had a great time! Yes some times the kids were fussy with the food but they are sometimes reluctant to try new things but they never went hungry. Me and my husband thought the food was really good ans plenty of choice. Loved the salad! Also having a cook outside is a nice touch. Me and my husband loved the adult only pool to have a bit of chill time while the kids had a lie in ages 18 18 13 and 13 not old enough to be left. The rooms were very clean and the cleaners were all so kind and did such a great job. We did have a Ln issue with not having enough towels a couple of times but this was easily resolved by asking for more. The pool areas were always kept clean and the grounds. All staff worked extremely hard in the heat and Yes sometimes they weren't overly happy but we all have off days. The entertainment staff were incredible always mingling and getting people involved big shout out to HARIBO absolutely brilliant. Local shopping is great. Unfortunately there are so many extras for example cocktails which is a shame after spending 1000s on a holiday. Icecream was extra unless between 12 and 4 I don't think this is long enough. I loved the fact you could access water any time and not have to buy it. We had great fun on the island loved all the slides. I didn't go much on the evening entertainment but then I've got older children so I was in bed early and up early to enjoy the adult pool. Also the spa was unbelievable!! We cannot fault our experience and would go back again.

Hotel is wonderful. Rooms are comfortable and clean and air con is amazing. Food is great, lots of variety every night. Pools are big, slides are fun and varied. Entertainment team is great, Potter is best DJ. Water on tap, bar staff are friendly too.

We have been back 36 hours from our 10 night trip at Eftalia Village. We went as a family of four (kids aged 9 & 6), and arrived around 2am at the hotel. Check in was easy and we were took to our room via a golf buggy which was fun. Having read previous reviews I knew that tips were expected by most of the hotel staff so we took extra money for tips. Our room was a pool facing family room which was clean and spacious with air con which was definitely needed due to the (great) hot weather. We were located by the top pools where the slides were and the kids loved it. We were aware (again due to previous reviews) that the wet floor surrounding the pool was very slippy so constant remind the kids not to run helped. You do have to get to the pool early for sun-beds, signs do say no reserving but everybody does. We managed to get beds everyday and were by the pool by 0830 daily. The other 2 pools were good (both no slides, one is an adult only pool) and the entertainment team were brilliant. Both my kids attended kids club which they both loved. The evening entertainment was tremendous also, great shows and mini discos for the kids. Food was good, I have a really fussy kid and he pretty much lived on chips and pasta. One thing I couldn’t find was dairy alternatives for breakfast time (soya/lactose free milk), other than that we pretty much loved the food in all restaurants in the village and island. Eftalia Island was great fun, we spent a few days/evenings down there and there was loads to do for all. There are loads of queues for food, drinks and slides but worth the wait. My only negative points from our side were the smoking situation and queue jumpers. Everyone seems to smoke everywhere which is awful for non-smokers. There should be smoking areas for people to do so as kids and other non-smokers don’t like to be near that. It seemed like the only people who weren’t queue jumping were the Brits. So many rude people just doing their own thing and had zero manners. When the slides were closed (feral) kids were running/climbing up the slides with their parents and lifeguards just watching. It would only take one kid to fall and injure/cut themselves for the pool to be closed. Parent your kids, that is your job. Other than that, we had a great time and would go back.
