Tago is the place to be in Tulum! A class service! Upon arrival Lety the host greeted me with a warm smile. Offered me a beverage of my choice and a cold cloth infused with aromatherapy. It’s totally a vibe here….so vibey! I was then shown the property and up to my beach view suite that has spectacular views. The pool was crystal clear. The room was extremely clean. Omar carried my bags up and made sure I had everything I needed. I enjoyed the pool and complimentary fruit right away as I read me welcome letter from Tago. It’s definitely the place to be. All the staff are like family and make sure your needs are meet right away. Super chill but still such a vibe. I’m sure I will not remember all the names of the amazing staff but you all were terrific. Thank you for all of your love. There was nightly turn down service with a complementary nightly treat. Fanatic food. The avocado toast and fresh juices always hit the spot. Upon check out Michel, Frida and Noah made sure I had a seamless check out. You guys are soooooo great best ever. Also, making sure my deposit went back to my card straight away. So professional and kind. Also allowing me a late check out. Everything everyone is doing works! Cheers! Blessings!

Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza meravigliosa nel complesso per i nostri 7 giorni trascorsi all'Hotelito Azul! Siamo andati con un'altra coppia e ognuno ha soggiornato nelle Oceanfront Suites (eravamo sopra di loro, erano al piano terra). Le stanze erano pulite e spaziose. Spazio di archiviazione un po 'limitato per i vestiti, ma abbiamo sfruttato al meglio le scaffalature / pensili fornite. La doccia è un sogno. Il servizio di pulizia puliva la nostra camera ogni giorno e ha fatto un ottimo lavoro! Abbiamo adorato le prelibatezze lasciate sui nostri cuscini ogni giorno. AC era tuo da controllare. Una sfida che abbiamo dovuto affrontare che avrebbe avuto una semplice soluzione è stata la mancanza di tappeti nella stanza. Stai camminando attraverso la sabbia per raggiungere la tua stanza e sì, c'è un secchio d'acqua da sciacquare prima di entrare, tuttavia eravamo alla disperata ricerca di un piccolo tappeto da esterno o solo qualcosa ai lati o ai piedi del letto per spazzare via la sabbia prima di arrivare a letto. È interessante notare che i nostri amici al piano di sotto avevano un fantastico corridore ai piedi del loro letto, quindi forse solo la coerenza con questo avrebbe fatto un'enorme differenza! Ti svegli con un cestino carino con il caffè ogni mattina e ti riempiranno di acqua potabile quanto ne hai bisogno nella stanza. Non possiamo dire abbastanza cose positive del personale. Comunichi con loro tramite What'sApp che offre risposte rapide a qualsiasi domanda o dubbio o quando ordini cibo/bevande. Larissa, il portiere è stato MERAVIGLIOSO. Ci ha accolto ogni giorno e ci ha fatto sentire come a casa e coccolati durante il nostro soggiorno. Ha aiutato a riempire il viaggio con esperienze meravigliose che si tratti di tour, ottimi punti locali per cibo/bevande o logistica. Abbiamo noleggiato scooter dall'hotel la maggior parte dei nostri giorni di vacanza e ne è valsa la pena. Abbiamo trovato che i prezzi dall'altra parte della strada erano più economici, tuttavia ci è piaciuta la comodità di affittare tramite l'hotel. Il cibo e le bevande dell'hotel sono tutti deliziosi, anche se abbiamo imparato rapidamente che mangiare e bere sulla spiaggia diventa costoso, quindi abbiamo scelto saggiamente quando/quanto abbiamo mangiato in hotel. Questo viene solo con la posizione. La posizione fisica dell'hotel è ideale perché non è troppo lontano dalla striscia di spiaggia, il cui traffico è diventato piuttosto cattivo man mano che si guidava. L'estetica e i dettagli dell'hotel sono perfetti per farti sentire come se stessi vivendo in una giungla stravagante. Cordiali saluti a tutti coloro che cercano di rimanere sulla spiaggia di Tulum, durante aprile-novembre o giù di lì, Tulum ottiene un'enorme quantità di alghe che rende quasi impossibile nuotare nell'oceano. Gli hotel, incluso Hotelito Azul, fanno del loro meglio per rimuovere quante più alghe possibile dalla spiaggia, ma amico, è una battaglia in salita. Sfortunatamente, questo limitava la nostra capacità di sederci fuori sulla spiaggia, perché l'unico sollievo dal caldo era la doccia esterna. Che, di nuovo, è incantevole, ma non l'oceano. Enjoyed my stay a lot. The Zen zone is perfect for people that like to enjoy their own Cabanitas (lil huts with straw roofs) a lot. I had originally booked one with a shared bathroom and jungle view but was fortunately enough to get a free upgrade to a private one right at the beach. Perfect! The lady from the front desk was very kind and friendly and gave me a small tour of the place and everything in my room. Waking up right at the beach was amazing and there was more than enough place to sit at the private beach seats which had great cover from the sun. The waiters occasionally walked over from the Bar which was 100m to the right, great service. The breakfast was delicious too, unlimited pancakes, toast and fruit. The Croissant and Chilaquiles that I ordered were delicious. For lunch I recommend the Tortas or Tostada with Octopus if you are into seafood. Only thing that was a bit annoying was that no matter the time it was quite full at the breakfast place which was also about a 500m walk to the right, maybe more. Make sure to use sun screen even at 9am damn. There is a small pharmacy and big liqour store with a lot of fancy wine and cheap Coronas right across the street, however barely any food and there´s no small mini market or Oxxo or such nearby. Make sure to bring some groceries if you are not planning to go into town like me (pay attention I didn´t have a fridge in the room). I didn´t like the roads either, it is not very walkable further than 300m either sides and because of the tropical rain it was dirty and the passing cars will splash you. I don´t think it´s safe to walk there at night. If you need to go to a specific place definitely take a taxi, sadly they will do their absolute best to rip you off. Bring pesos and clearly agree for a price before, there´s no Uber. Anyways, there were some fancy restaurants close by but nothing quick or easy. Therefore I´d say the location is beautiful considering the beach but you will spend a bit going up and down. Walking on the beach during the day is nice and easy close to the water, there are some nice hotels and associated beach bars closeby. You just have to be able to cope with the weather, it was around 33 degrees most days I was there and the sun was incredibly strong. Luckily the hotel provides you with fresh water everyday. I don´t know how they did it, but everytime I went for a small walk or to get breakfast they managed to clean my cabanita very neatly. They did a great job, place was very clean every time. Sadly my cabanita was leaking a bit from the roof at multiple places when raining and the cleaners turnt on the airco when I was gone which caused the floor to be very slippery. I only saw the staff at the front when picking up towels everyday and asking for recommendations, they were very friendly and I enjoyed the small talk a lot. They seem very happy to work there. I advise them to put a fan there however because it was incredibly hot at the front side during the day and both of us were struggling. In conclusion, this place is perfect for couples that don´t want to sit at a pool but at the beach and enjoy each others company, beach walks, swimming and some privacy. Definitely book the cabanita with ocean view or directly at the beach. It´s worth it. Bathroom was very nice too, big shower. The occasional baby crab will crawl up through the drain but they´re friendly. Just make sure to close the door most of the times, I had a huge wasp like creature in my room that I couldn´t get out anymore. Thanks to all the staff, I enjoyed my stay a lot. Kind regards, Davey

I stayed for 1 week here, with my two teenagers. We had room D, which has 2 super comfortable king-sized beds as well as another (queen? or full?) bed. The latter was described as a couch but we were pleasantly surprised it was more than that. The room is on the second floor, with a little outside area to relax and enjoy the sea breeze. We LOVED this place. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff does a wonderful job with room service, and the breakfast staff is great (Gracias, Abraham!). We didn't eat any other meals there, although they're available. The small hotel has a chill vibe. It's right on the beach, and since the beach is only shared with one other hotel, it feels pretty tucked away. There is a small rocky cliff where I loved sitting to watch the sunrise and the pelicans feed. The evenings are pleasantly quiet. My kids enjoyed the small pool (very clean!) as well as the hammocks and beach chairs down on the beach. The whole area has tons of sea**** right now, which changes depending on the day to some extent, but during our time there was never absent. I still managed to swim in the ocean a few times, although my kids didn't. The main drag along the beach is pretty busy, but you don't sense that while at this hotel. There are plenty of places that you can walk from the hotel, although after we realized it was more expensive to eat along the ”strip” in Tulum than it is to eat in the US, we took the rest of our dinners in Tulum town (recommended!). The friendly folks at the desk are happy to offer suggestions for restaurants, or any other help that you might need. Having a fridge was great; we kept some beverages as well as stuff for lunches there. Do put food in the fridge - it's the tropics, so ants will arrive otherwise! My kids loved the AC, although honestly the week we were there, the ocean breeze was so steady, I felt it wasn't really necessary. There is no parking (we rented a car) but there are multiple places across the street where you can pay to park. Our place was 200 pesos/day (about 10 USD). The only thing that I'd say could use improvement is the coffee -it's incredibly bad. If you like coffee in the morning, come prepared, or go out! The breakfast is yummy (I mostly had the ”Mexican eggs” which are scrambled with tomatoes & onions, plus a small helping of rice, beans, and sometimes guac)....other options include eggs with ham and/or cheese, or else pancakes & fruit. They don't start serving anything until 8am, so on some of our ”early start” days we had to miss it. Overall, a great stay.

Super posizione, recentemente rimodellato, le letti erano comodi sembrava che tutto era nuovo. Molto pulito, buon Wifi, buon cibo e eccellente zona, la spiaggia è attraversando la strada. Sono letti misti ma ci sono anche letti privati, le lesioni che erano occupati, incredibile prezzo per dormire nella zona hotel

È stata un'esperienza unica, visuale bellissima.. La location merita davvero.. Cibo buono, porzioni ridotte e un po costoso. Abbiamo cenato presso il ristorante Tseenja Il cameriere Alfredo è stato molto gentile e cordiale. Parte del personale (non tutti) all'ingresso poco accoglienti. Nonostante ciò, consiglierei questo posto.

We stayed 4 days/3 nights. The staff was all extremely kind and welcoming from the beginning of our stay until the moment we checked out. Great location for us. The hotel is closer to the beginning of the hotel zone. Nights were quiet when we stayed and did not hear the music from the other clubs/hotels in the area. The garden view room we received was very clean and just what we needed. The mattress was extremely comfortable (to our standards) and the room was spacious for two. There is no fridge in the room but the front desk was always kind enough to provide ice when needed. The location is at the beginning of the hotel zone which was ideal for us as we felt it was a quiet and relaxing place to stay. And it was so easy to ride our bikes around the area and into the city. The staff was all working extremely hard to accommodate and ensure that people are enjoying their stay at the hotel. The breakfast was flavourful and consistent every morning. Their cantaloupe juice is a must if its an option. We had dinner once the first night and I really enjoyed their fish tacos. And we always tried to take advantage of their happy hours when we could. We were out exploring the area most of the time but always looked forward to coming back to the hotel to relax and enjoy the beach. That to me says a lot. I would highly recommend staying here. I might write their names incorrectly but thank you to Chris, Allan and Girard (so sorry if I did not get your name right) for all your assistance and advice during our stay.
