Atman Residences Tulum

DO - lovely hotel with private pool. Victor was very helpful. Quiet and peaceful DONT - quite a list - sorry! Place is out of the way so I wouldnt stay here without a car. No Dish cloths or cleaning stuff at all. No towels were given or room cleaned through out our 6 day stay No info on anything - you really need some info about the local area such as doctors, supermarkets etc. If you arrive after dinner bring food with you - the hotel had no rest or bars open so we had to go back out late for water and dinner (after 16 hours travelling this wasnt the great), The hotel had no info on anthing local so we needed to go into busy Tulum which wasnt ideal (we did find at coffee shop nearby but again hotel had no info on this)

This hotel was perfect, it’s quiet and very private we felt like the only ones here. The breakfast offered was 10/10!! The private pool and Netflix was a good alternative to the moments we decided to stay in. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Marco and Rosalia took very good care of us. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for 6 nights and felt it was a great value for a nice stay in Tulum. Staff was very friendly, especially Marco. We did not have any electricity or Wi-Fi problems at all. We loved the relaxing atmosphere, and loved having both a private pool and the rooftop dipping pool, as well as access to the main pool which we enjoyed. We ate 2 breakfasts at the restaurant and they were good. My daughter loved the waffles :). The rooms and kitchen are basic, but were comfortable and we slept great. We didn’t cook in the kitchen but we brought tacos back to our lodging twice for dinner so we could relax in the residence. Daily Housecleaning was great, but we had to ask for more towels, as they only provide 1 pp initially, and we also needed them for the pool (towels were not available at the main pool). We rented a car and drove the 10-15 minutes into the hotel zone to go to beach clubs or into the centro, or to the cenotes , etc. As others have noted, the pothole road leading to Atman was not my favorite experience. And there was neighboring construction noise for some of the days (not sure how you totally avoid that in Tulum). Tips: If you arrive late in the day, plan on not having access to any food (restaurant closes around check in time). Make sure you have WhatsApp on the phone that you registered with so you can communicate with the front desk before you arrive. They send a welcome message a week ahead of check in. Overall, we recommend Atman residences.
