Kuukum Tulum Hotel

If I could rate this place below zero I would! The place is surrounded by construction, so if you are looking for some peace and quiet this is not it. The place is also run down, rooms do not look like anything in the pictures, you will get a broken mattress, no hot water and non-functioning Wi-Fi connection. You are also in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared to guide your taxi drivers how to get here, since they don’t even know how to get here. If you’re planning to rent a bike or any other means of transportation besides a car, make sure to have a flashlight, because there’s no street lights and it is pitch black dark at night. The floors are dirty, and the breakfast is overpriced for the quality of the food that they provide. They are also not willing to accommodate you for any inconvenience. Tulum is amazing but this hotel is a nightmare! In comparison to this place, Motel six is a five star hotel! Whoever rated this place five stars must’ve been homeless. I hope this review will help someone to avoid this horrific experience in the future.

Kuukum is a heavenly place designed to relax and immerse yourself in nature. The staff is very friendly, our stay was the best, being in a hotel with so much nature and trees made us feel like we were in the middle of the jungle, my partner and I were delighted with this place. We will definitely return on our next vacation.

Excellent hotel, we really enjoyed the pool which is located in the room. my room was very large which were very cool. We rented some bikes at the front desk to go to the beach and it was great. We enjoyed everything

After arriving late at the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly member of the front office who was very helpful in showing us around the hotel and the room which by the way was huge. The front office manager Octavio was super nice and accommodating and it was actually quite refreshing as I came to Tulum and Cancun many times and I always felt that people didn’t go the extra mile. Not in this hotel. I am always greeted by everyone who works here with a smile and everyone is eager to help. The rooms are massive, over 100sq meters most of them with private pool. The price I also found is very attractive compared to other hotels. My suggestion, stay here to be comfortable and rent a car to drive around the beautiful beaches

We enjoyed really staying in this hotel. Rooms are really nice. The small private pool is definitely an asset. The design is really suitable to Tulum. We have been there with our kids and it is suitable for families.

This was the most beautiful experience. The service is excellent. Rooms are spotless and beautifully curated. I wish I had found it sooner! I hate to leave. The privacy and quiet was much needed. I felt very safe as there is an overnight security at the front. They were very helpful with my transport to my next country. Love love love
