Maison Tulum

Very cute hotel! Felt like a little oasis surrounded by beautiful greenery. Location was perfect, only a few blocks from the ADO bus station and near many shops and restaurants. The room was well equipped with a comfy bed, space to store luggage, a little tabe with chairs, small kitchenette, smart TV, hot water, A/C and filtered water available for free. The manager Guillermo was so kind and very helpful. He took the time to help me look into the bus and train schedules and stored a few of my things while I visited another city for a few nights before returning to spend my final night in Tulum. I also enjoyed the café connected to the hotel. The coffee and breakfast were both delicious. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others :)

Wonderful eco friendly boutique hotel. Well situated near the town and short taxi ride to the wonderful beaches. You step into a magical kingdom when you arrive at Maison Tulum. It’s like a little oasis of lush green plants and trees and wonderful Mexican colours. There is a great coffee bar and restaurant serving delicious fresh food. Guillermo the live in manager is really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a fabulous stay here and would highly recommend. Thank you Guillermo 👍😃

Positives: - The location of Maison is great, a short walk to the main road and to the ADO bus station but out of the main 'noisy' area - We loved the decor and the authentic feel of the place, especially the rooftop areas - The room was spacious and clean - The cafe served nice food and the people serving were lovely - The staff in general were very nice and helpful and made us feel at home Negatives: - when we arrived at 8.30pm the main door was locked (it's always locked for security), but we had to wait for quite some time ringing the bell before anyone came to let us in. - the description when booking said that bikes were available to rent from the property which was not the case, however they did recommend where we should go for this - the property does feel a little old with a slight musty smell, low water pressure etc. this didn't bother us as we were only there for 1 day but may bother others - we were very unfortunate that on our second night there was a huge party/concert across the road which started at around 6pm and went on until 2am with extremely loud music. While this is of course not the fault of the property, it was not acknowledged at all by anyone when we didn't get any sleep and was impossible to ignore. That really let the score down as it was just such an awful night and we had a long day of travelling the next day.

Lovely colourful hotel with a sweet little restuarant, very near bus station. Guillermo is an excellent host, very helpful. Everything I ate in the restuarant was top-notch, and the servers are also very lovely. Close to lots of useful things like the bus station and shops.

This is the best hotel you can stay at in Tulum. I went down for 3 weeks as a solo female Traveler. This place is gated and centrally located and it's like a Time Warp, you're in the middle of downtown and as soon as you go into the hotel you're smack dab in the middle of the jungle. It's beautiful. The hosts are the most amazing people and the staff in the cafe will make you feel like they've known you forever. There were frequently checking in with me to make sure I had everything I needed and anytime I had a question they had a variety of answers depending on what exactly I was looking for. The cleanliness, the service and the atmosphere are all top tier. It's tucked away from the noise of downtown but centrally located to all of the main ***** and restaurants. After a long day in the Sun and after dinner I would always head to the rooftop Terrace where they have a few hammocks and it's just such a beautiful little Oasis to end the day with. I will 100% be back and I can't wait to stay here again.

Lovely quiet small place full of personality in a buisy touristy Tulum. We had a hard time finding a place to stay in tulum that wasnt either a luxury beach resort hotel or soulless sterile accommodation. But maison have a lovely owner, beautiful colours and lots of soul. Big rooms with aircon and netflix for the weary traveller (stayed in a double). Centrally placed in tulum pueblo close to everything when you go on daytrips. Nice breakfast and coffee in the cafe next door. I can highly recommend this place
