Hotel Holistika Tulum

I found this hotel very spiritual and magical. The property has nature trails throughout the entire area with an art walk through the jungle that was amazing. They offer numerous health and wellness classes everyday. I did yoga every morning. I tried Capoeira. I tried a sound healing class that was so relaxing and refreshing. I tried a dreaming awake psychedelic class that was interesting. The temazcal ceremony was fantastic I highly recommend this. I highly recommend doing all of the classes there. I can’t imagine anyone being bored. Every instructor was very talented and knowledgeable. Perfect for every level of learning. Their vegan restaurant Tierra is absolutely amazing. Excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their super cute juice and smoothie bar with swings was very welcoming and delicious. Their property couldn’t be any more charming and into natural beauty and healing. I visited both swimming pools. Very relaxing. One has hammocks over the pool. I stayed in the female only shared dorms. Very comfortable. Everyone is there trying to improve themselves and learn new techniques to move forward in life. Everyone on their staff is very friendly and helpful. The best part is you don’t have to spend a fortune to help yourself in numerous ways. I highly recommend this place. It made a difference in my life. I hope that it will do the same for you. Definitely worth trying. Vale la pena!

It feels difficult to find the right place to stay in Tulum. We only stayed here 2 nights to visit the blabla reserve and the archaeological site. We chose this place because it looked far enough from the beach and centre to be quiet. Mistake... The loud music at the restaurant made us uncomfortable. But it was nothing compared to the noise coming from the neighbourhood during both whole nights - up to 5 or 6 am. What to say about the room itself... very spartiate, we felt like in a giant nun's cell looking out on the pool, or being looked from the pool if we'd left the curtains opened. The only good thing here was the pool, surprisingly relaxing in the hamacs when not taken over by a herd of noisy people. I almost forgot... this is the only place after 5 weeks in Mexico where we've had to pay for the coffee we prepare in our room...
