L'assistenza è stata incredibile da due donne in Indonesia che lavorano alla reception, il letto è molto confortevole, la camera è ben spaziosa, la pulizia è eccellente. Un punto molto importante: è lontano dal centro e Trier non ha una facile locomozione come una grande città quindi, deve camminare abbastanza per andare al centro e non ha frigo o caldaia elettrica nella stanza.

We had a fine stay at the hotel. It is a clean, basic hotel, located at the back of the train station in Trier. Great soundpfoor windows. there was a party going on outside but you couldn't hear anything. The only criticism would be that we put a DND sign on the door and the cleaner still came in. I think that this should be respected, even more now during the times of Covid when people might not feel comfortable having someone touching stuff in the room. An extra pillow/cushion for the bed would be great as it's very uncomfortable to sut on the bed and watch the telly with just one pillow. No one present at the hotel after 9pm.

Stayed for one night for business. I wasn’t expecting much for an Ibis Styles, however I must admit, it was a pretty good stay. Location is excellent right in the heart of Trier and some great cafes close by etc. Rooms are spacious, clean and simple, nothing fancy but thats their vibe. I feel they have been recently renovated as they were in a great condition. Comfortable beds, pillows were a but lumpy and lack lust… could do with newer firmer ones or at least a choice of a firm and soft on the beds. Had access to an Iron and Ironing board delivered by house keeping and good lighting etc. the only let down as it got quite warm and the AC doesn’t work, luckily it was only about 18° outside otherwise it wouldn’t be pleasant and there was a noisy generator noise outside the windows so you couldn’t sleep with them open (which you couldn’t really hear closed). Staff here pleasant and breakfast was included. A colleague stayed at the Best Western and visiting him there, the Ibis was defiantly the better choice. I would stay here again on my next visit.

The main advantages are the location, being a five minute walk from the main rail station and very large rooms. I imagine that the hotel was very glamourous some years ago, but it is now an ageing hotel with some charms. The rooms do not have a fridge - the space is now sealed sghut, and the safe wasn’t operative. The bed is an issue - there are two old single beds pushed together and there are separate bed covers for each, which are not nice for a couple. The room has a lot to offer with a lounge and two comfortable chairs, in an era when rooms are tiny and have no chairs or amenities. Ideally, the hotel needs upgrading and renovating but the cost is reasonable and it does offer good value. The staff were friendly and I liked this hotel more than the more modern, boxy hotels we stayed at in several other cities on this trip.

Hotel datato con arredi vecchiotti. Siamo accolti da una signorina Rottermeier, che ci elenca una serie di divieti e regole,la cui infrazione comporta il pagamento di sanzioni. Sentiamo a credere alle nostre orecchie:attenzione a non bagnare la moquette con l'acqua della doccia, non cucinare in camera.... Siamo adulti abituati a viaggiare, e molto, non tredicenni in gita scolastica. La cena è da dimenticare. A meervizio, vegetariana, nonostante un ampio preavviso, viene rifilato un piattone di tagliatelle scotte annegate nel concentrato di pomodoro con aggiunta di pezzetti di verdure crude. Il tutto generosamente cosparso di spezie buttate a caso. Immangiabile e disgustoso. Mi chiedo che senso abbia propinare una pietanza del genere ad un vegetariano, che è una creatura semplice, cui basterebbe un pezzetto di formaggio, un uovo sodo, un'insalata. Buona la colazione.

kamer wordt 1x per 3 dagen schoongemaakt en de gebruikte handdoeken worden dan afgevoerd, dus een flinke berg vuile was op de vloer, geen prettig gezicht. geen ventilatie in de kamer, raam kan op een ventilatiestand, maar als de kamer aan de voorzijde(straatzijde) is, dan is het geluid van het verkeer van de drukke straat TE TE TE, het raam moet dicht blijven maar geen frisse lucht is niet fijn. TE weinig parkeerplaatsen, echt een ramp, en dan ook nog vragen bij het uitchecken: of je auto op een HOTEL Parkeerplaats staat,( en dan ook daar geld voor vragen) Nee natuurlijk niet, die zijn er beslist onvoldoende. een hotel op het nivo van een jeugdherberg, zonder enig Hotel gevoel, voor mij geen repeat, frans florijn (NL) #2117 verblijf 13/10 tot 20/10 2023

Stayed in my way out and the way back, what’s great little hotel very simply decorated but very clean and great receptionist who remembered me on my return. Great views over the mossel river and only a short walk to the centre with ample Parking. Thanks for having me enjoyed meeting you
