Bella accoglienza Personale gentile Camere troppo piccole ma come vantaggio biancheria da letto buona tranne il cuscino un po' troppo morbido Bagno da rivedere con una porta che non si chiude, nessuna finestra nel bagno, bagno da ristrutturare perché troppo vecchio, vasca da bagno troppo danneggiata e il acqua che cambia temperatura solo da sola (calda 5 min, fredda 5 min continuamente)

Molto buon piccolo hotel ben organizzato, perfettamente pulito e servito da un team abbastanza simpatico. Le camere sono molto ben mantenute, tutto è in buono stato. Il buffet del colazione è piuttosto caldo, anche se le macchine da caffè non funzionano in modo ottimale. Questo hotel deve essere molto piacevole in estate, anche se è perso in una sorta di zona industriale.

Bella vista mare pulizia inaccettabile, personale al top colazione ricco, con vista stufa su un piccolo porto, facile da parcheggiare, quartiere tranquillo. L'ingresso si effettua su un piccolo patio che porta alla ricezione a destra e su uno spazio di co-opera a sinistra. Servizio in camera o ristoranti a 5 minuti.

Unbelievably disappointed with this hotel and a majority of its staff. We experienced a tragic void of cleanliness, professionalism and hospitality during our entire stay at the Mercure Hotel in Toulon, France. Unfortunately, our fruitless attempts to resolve these issues directly with on-site management (which does not exist) and corporate personnel (impossible to contact) leave us feeling violated of our dignity and robbed of our time and money. We hope the following information will help others in the future, including travelers, hospitality staff, Sébastien Bazin, Gilles Pélisson, and the like. CLEANLINESS: Upon our arrival, we could literally see dust and dirt on all of the shelves, counter tops, balconies and floors of the hotel and room. Even the carpet in the room was so dirty it stained the bottom of our clean socks. The toilet room smelled bad, like, well, a used toilet. We politely asked for it to be cleaned, however, no one ever came, not even to freshen up the room at any point during our stay. COMFORT: The air conditioning did not work in our room, ever. When we spoke to the front desk staff about the sweltering temperature of 90 degrees F in our room (even though the thermostat read 16 C) and were informed to “leave the room for awhile to let it work”. We left at 3:30PM and returned at 11PM to a less sweltering temperature of 85 degrees F in our room. We asked staff member available, Alexi/Alex at the front desk, if he could fix the thermostat. He begrudgingly came to take a look and was profusely sweating after one minute in the room. He could not turn on the air conditioning even though the thermostat read the same 16C. He said we could open the window, but that would just let in the bugs in and turn off the air completely. He also suggested we leave the room to wait 15 minutes for it to turn on…? Given that that strategy did not work when suggested earlier, we asked for a different room with working air conditioning. He laughed at us and said no because it would not make his manager happy. We said we would happily speak to the manager about the issue and he laughed again, said no, and stated management is not available on the weekends. We then asked for some sort of a solution and Alexi/Alex appeared annoyed and said “there is nothing to be done” and that he had to get back to his “other duties” at the hotel. Turns out it was actually the end of his shift and he did not want to stay any longer that his end time to deal with this problem. We noted that the sheets and bedding were surprisingly all polyester, which doesn’t breathe like cotton, and acts like a heat conductor and made it more difficult to achieve sleep. He laughed again and said all the rooms are the same and there is nothing to be done. We went back to the front desk to ask for help from the next staff member and found that the only person available was a very kind, intelligent security guard named Cherkre(sp?). I stayed one night on a quick business trip to Toulon. I did not have breakfast so cannot comment on this. However, the hotel is centrally located and convenient for me to attend my meetings on foot after arrival. Parking in the railway car park is a little complicated (though I had stayed in the hotel previously) and the process for booking in advance, which has changed in January 2023, was not explained in the welcome email I was sent (just a QR code attachment). Otherwise the hotel is perfect for a quick business trip to Toulon. I will use again.

Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno di 4 notti in hotel dopo una pausa nel nostro autocamera (che era parcheggiato dalle barriere navali nel centro di Toulon). Tutto il nostro bene personale, compresi i nostri passaporti, era rubato; tutto quello che avevamo con noi era il nostro cane, i suoi cibi e i suoi bolli da mangiare e i vestiti che indossavamo. Siamo arrivati molto tardi la sera all'hotel (senza prenotazione) e ancora in pieno shock. Possiamo parcheggiare in sicurezza il nostro furgone danneggiato nel parcheggio sotterraneo e abbiamo fatto il nostro modo di arrivare alla reception. Lì ci incontrava Kevin, che era brillante e molto comprensibile, e si accertava che avessimo tutto quello che ci serviva prima di andare a letto quella notte. La mattina seguente, abbiamo avuto un sacco di amministrazioni e logistica da navigare, come il nostro piano originale era di andare a Mallorca, e questo è quando abbiamo incontrato Samuel. Ci sono stati innumerevoli volte che io e il mio partner chiesero a Samuel per il suo aiuto e consiglio nel cercare di stampare documenti e di aiutare a comunicare per noi. Il nostro francese non è molto buono e l'inglese della squadra è eccellente! Egli andò di sopra e di là per aiutarci. Non c'era problema nonostante lui e la squadra fosse molto occupata. Abbiamo incontrato Bernard qualche giorno intorno al nostro soggiorno e ha dimostrato la stessa volontà di aiutare, di gioia e di professionalità. Ha trovato un buon vet per noi vicino all'hotel, che ha potuto aiutare con la carta e il trattamento di guarigione per il nostro cane, così potremmo tornare insieme al Regno Unito. Siamo estremamente grati a Kevin, Samuel e Bernard per il loro fantastico servizio e aiuto. È stato un enorme differenziale per noi dopo un'esperienza molto stressante. Anche se la maggior parte delle nostre interazioni erano con i ragazzi, potevamo vedere che l'intera squadra lavorava davvero bene insieme e sono molto organizzati. C'è una buona relazione tra tutti.
