My husband and I stayed here at The Palace Hotel & Spa for a week (23/09-27/09/24) for our 7 year wedding anniversary. It was our 1st time staying here. We have stayed at their sister hotels The Queen's (Paignton) & The Headland (Torquay). The room was stunning comfy bed very clean too. We had an evening in the pod for a romantic meal which was out of this world. The bar staff Chloe & Benji were amazing & made us feel very welcome sad to see Benji leave. However my experience of the massage was horrendous my back was severely bruised & couldn't sleep. I paid £55 for a southing aromatherapy massage & I was left in agony & still am.

A relaxing holiday in a better than average hotel in an exelent location. Staff were efficient, polite and friendly. Food in the restaurant was always served quickly on hot plates. Gardens were spacious and well kept with plenty of seating areas with a bar service.

We organised a family celebration for 70 people at the hotel. Staff couldn't have been more helpful before and during the event. Buffet food was exceptional. Ourselves and other family members stayed overnight for several nights. I cant recomnend this hotel and staff enough

Food and service excellent but lack of control of a large party on the saturday was unacceptable. Hotels must maximise income opportunities but not at the expense of residents who had no access to the ground floor lounge area and children who allowed to run around the grounds and ground floor without adult control - hopefully this was a on off. Attention to the damp problem and a window that would not close in room 55 is a matter of urgency

We have stayed here on several occasions and love this hotel so much. Rooms are light and airy, food is amazing and the bar and lounge area are relaxing. May be a bit more expensive than some of the other hotels, but well worth it, especially if you want to treat yourself.

The hotel is ver clean Rooms also clean but dated shortage of electric socket’s so it’s one plug out and plug one in if you want to lay in your bed with your phone or tablet take a extension cable with you the sower is over the bath the food was ok average and slow service meant it was dry on top The one popular complaint from from Guests was the bar where if you had been out for a meal or to see a show and you wanted a drink to relax and finish off your night sorry the bar man would close the bar early he just seemed to do as he pleased also often there would be no one to serve you could stand for a long time god knows where he was one guest said to him in all others hotels you could get a drink at any time and he rudely answered ( not in this one ) he must cost the business a lot of revenue with his own closing times Often people would just give up and go to bed very poor for a hotel
