We absolutely loved our week at Devon Court. Our hosts, Kyla and Martin, are warm and welcoming. Martin picked us up from the train station and cooked amazing breakfasts every morning. Kyla helped us with all our plans for the week and made us feel like we were friends visiting their home. Devon Court is a short uphill walk from the harbour and is close to lots of restaurants, theatres and public transport. It is an elegant, comfortable home with communal areas, a pool and a bar. Kyla and Martin have a lot of return guests and Ican see why. We loved every minute of our stay.

Arrived on the 8th of Sept and due to family emergency had to leave the next day, but the short time spent there was breath taking! The house is sooo beautiful and the beds so comfy. We managed to get into the pool which was heated. There is such a lovely atmosphere which I am sure is thanks to Kyla and Martin. Before we left we had breakfast, and omg the scrambled eggs! Thank you Martin for dropping us off at the train station, so kind of you. If I was lucky enough to reside here I wouldn't want to share it because it's so beautiful.

A great place with hospitable hosts, excellent facilities and a relaxed atmosphere. After the drive down the heated pool was a welcome sight and really was just as the picture represents with the English Riviera sun. Quiet yet accessible we recommend wholeheartedly.

The most lovely B&B in Torquay, minutes walk from the beautiful harbour Very clean spacious and comfy bedroom in good decorative order. Slept so well and room/B&B was very quiet. Tea making facilities and fridge, good hairdryer and mirror (important when drying your hair) complimentary slippers and lovely products in the bathroom. Didn't use the swimming pool but it looked impressive and very clean. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Excellent breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Parking on site. Would happily stay there again. Wish all B&Bs were this good. They call it the Devon Court Luxurious B&B and in my book that title describes it perfectly.

Where do i start!!! Such a little gem of a place. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming as soon as we arrived. The room was decorated beautifully along with robes, slippers and a well quipped modern styled bathroom. Communal areas were spotlessly clean with a warm inviting feeling, which included fabulous furnishings and a well equipped bar. Breakfast in the restaurant was superb, the food was very good and the service was second to none. Being a bit old fashioned myself, i do like tables dressed well and this restaurant did not disappoint at all. The location was just right, quiet enough from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to the beach and amenities. The pool area was just the right size, with a heated pool and ample sun loungers and umbrellas. My only regret was not staying longer.

So glad we booked here for a weeks stay in Torquay. The hosts Martin and Kyra are brilliant and so knowledgeable about the local attractions and eateries. Location is great as long as you don't mind a fairly steep hill back up from the seafront. 15 mins walk to the harbour and only 5 mins to the seafront and beach. We had a suite and it was lovely, modern but tastefully done and plenty of room. Great shower and lovely comfy bed. Breakfast was fantastic, we tried the full English, fruit platter, eggs benedict, poached eggs on black pudding and all were excellent. Kyra is a great hostess with her joke of the day and advice on plans for the day. The swimming pool and garden are the cherries on the cake and really make this place special. All in all we would thoroughly recommend a stay at The Devon Court, you won't regret it.

Thank you Kyla and Martin for such a great stay. As other reviews have said, the rooms are spotlessly clean, breakfasts marvelous and the pool a real bonus. In addition, Kyla and Martin are perfect hosts, they made us feel very welcome and clearly love what they do....it really did make the difference to our stay. We'll be back and would highly recommend anyone who wants a relaxing break to give it a try.

What a lovely peaceful place. This is the second time we have stayed here. Stayed for 3 nights. Owners are lovely. Weather great so we were able to enjoy the lovely outside heated pool. We'll definately be back next year.
