Harmony Bed and Breakfast

Great service and good food. As we entered, the host was welcoming and showed our room. Our room was very clean and they had strict regulations around smoking. Good choice of breakfast options and vegan options were available too.

We stayed for a week in Harmony. We felt welcome. The room was kept very clean. There was a delicious breakfast, We got helpful tips for sightseeing. There was genuine interest in our experiences and this made our stay truly special. We really appreciated the personal touch in everything from Michelle the host.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Harmony. In short: Fabulous! For detail 😀: Two rooms booked (4 and 6). Excellent pre-stay email and telephone communication with Michelle, this was reassuring and firmed our decision to stay here for the first time. Positives: Clean and tidy rooms, well stocked hospitality tray, replaced daily. Fresh bottled water daily too. Silent fridge (room 6) very welcome. Clean towels as required. Parking on site without issue. Amazing breakfasts (most of the menu sampled between us 🙂); good coffee, plenty of both! Nice location: Flat walk to seafront / harbour; mostly flat walk to Cockington village; a 15 min, slight incline (last minute) to walk to Torre Abbey, my 80+ old mum managed all walks without issue; easy access to train station and harbour for excursions. Honesty bar ,glassware, board games etc available. Leaflets of nearby attractions in foyer. Most importantly for us was the kindness and consideration shown and witnessed to other guests. Negatives: Struggling to offer any! But, to offer balanced review: Smaller bottles of wine in honesty bar would be welcomed! 😉. Some of the 'in room' information is out of date (understanding that restaurants close and prices of excursions etc change). No fresh milk or Echo dot in room as per information. I didn't ask about either of these as were very, very minor to us. When can we go back??! Hoping to do so later in year! Thank you so much!

Just returned from another fabulous 5 night stay at Harmony, we were in room 8 which was top notch, ceiling fan, refrigerator, amazon dot, smart tv with Netflix Amazon tv, youtube and all other tv options , and one of the most comfortable beds i have slept in, Michelle and James the owners make sure your stay is everything you expect nothing is too much trouble and they are more than happy to offer information and tips on where to go and what to do, and the breakfast is wonderful plenty of choice and plenty of it. Parking at Harmony is easy as they have their own parking area's. If you are planning a trip to Torquay I would recommend a stay at Harmony.

Stayed for 6 nights, rooms clean and comfortable, nice shower, good quality towels. Nice size bed and good mattress. Breakfast was delicious, full English all cooked fresh with good produce, the fresh warm croissants were amazing, continental breakfast also provided as in cereals, fruit and yoghurts and fresh juice. Toast and jams too. Michelle is the the hostess with the mostess, goes above and beyond in making sure you have everything you need and coffee and tea topped up readily, also knows a lot of great places to visit and recommended a lovely award winning Indian restaurant fir us and even made the booking for us too… In a good location, a 15 minute picturesque walk to the beach and marina and plenty of coffee shops and bars. Will hopefully be returning again soon, keep up the good work Michelle and James. Thankyou very much.

Had the pleasure & the fortune to find this gem of a place! You are greeted by Michelle as if you are old friends. The room was so spacious even with a wardrobe & a chest of drawers! ( need to know where you got the artwork from in room 1 too!!!!!😍) The breakfast was first class. Choice of cereals & pastries then a choice of hot food too including full English, omelette and scrambled eggs with salmon. Michelle was running the place single handedly for a while as her husband was poorly and you wouldn't have known! So professional but also so lovely & informative about the local area. Great communal lounge & honesty bar too. Was an absolute pleasure to stay here and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
