Bentley Lodge

It could so easily have been a cut & paste from our feedback 3 years ago. Nothing has changed , but how can you improve on perfection ? But Debbie & Rich deserve our time to write an upto date review as they are such lovely hosts. It is a home from home as soon as you are greeted at the door by Debbie. Debbie gave us guided tour of the lovely ,clean, fresh smelling B&B . Beautifully decorated, lovely fresh flowers everywhere which is a tease for the magnificent garden they have beyond the dinning room. We both made great use of the garden to relax after a hearty breakfast of locally sorce ingredients, with Rich's mamerlade without the best we have tasted. Within the bedrooms the beautiful decor continues , with everything and lots more than you will ever need. So many personal touches , homemade fudge , rockie roads bites, filtered cold water, fresh milk in refrigerator. To name but a few. We received some great insight and information of the area's to visit from them both, along with a fantastic information booklet in the room of places to eat. We will be returning for sure. It's a really great find . Everything at Bentley Lodge is perfect for a great holiday. But the one thing that makes it stand out from the rest are the great hosts Debbie & Rich.

A wonderful guest house with the perfect hosts. We spent a couple of nights here celebrating a special anniversary and on arrival found we had been upgraded and had been left a lovely bottle of prosecco and box of chocolates in our room,such a generous and lovely touch. The room(and the lodge in general) was very comfortable,everything was so clean and they have thought of everything to make sure your stay is perfect,the breakfast was fabulous and there was so much choice! Debbie and Rich can't do enough for you and should be very proud of what they have achieved,we would definitely recommend and would love to return one day.

Fabulous stay - Debbie and Rich couldn’t do enough. Everything I needed was there, hosts very keen to accommodate. Beautiful surroundings, very clean, all mods cons. Amazing breakfast with excellent choices. Felt very safe as a lone female traveller.

Another amazing stay at Bentley Lodge, Debbie and Richard a so friendly and very welcoming. The room is super clean and airy and full of little treats, the homemade fudge and rocky road are worth the visit alone ;-) I have to mention the breakfast, by far one of the best, fresh produce, good coffee and homemade strawberry jam , it is certainly an excellent start to the day. I will definitely be back soon

Debbie and Rich were great hosts and should be highly commended for their efforts to date. The accommodation, breakfast and cleanliness levels at Bentley Lodge were all to the highest of standards. The beds were extremely comfortable with the rooms being spacious, offering modern shower facility's and most importantly very well kept. My first stay ended today (20/12/24) and I will return to Bentley Lodge in January when I am in Torquay next on business. Debbie and Rich cannot do enough for you, be it accommodating a late check in request or applying extra touches to their guests rooms which are a nice welcoming touch, after either a long journey or a long working day. Well done Debbie and Rich.

Debbie and Richard were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable room and facilities with good /varied choice of breakfast . Garden is a great place to relax if you get the weather . We would definitely stay again if we visit Torquay.
