L'hotel era davvero grande. L'intero hotel sembra essere stato recentemente ristrutturato e le camere sono grandi e pulite. Il personale dell'hotel è stato molto utile e sempre felice di aiutare! Il colazione incluso è lontano dalla maggior parte degli hotel per un colazione complimentare. La posizione è perfetta, meno di 10 minuti dalla metropolitana e vicino a una fermata stradale. L'hotel è quasi nel cuore del centro, quindi è facile venire e andare come vuoi durante il giorno. Raccomando questo posto e vorrei sicuramente tornare indietro!

La mia recensione potrebbe essere diversa dall'esperienza degli altri, ma ho una stanza che mi adatta alla scelta che ho pagato. Poiché non sono un viaggiatore di stupidità, mi è andato bene che ho una stanza singola con bagno privato. Se siete un viaggiatore che cammina molto e prende il trasporto e la donna, potreste voler essere un po' attenti, perché le circostanze sono case e buio di notte. Le autovetture e il più vicino metro non sono così lontano (autovetture: circa 5 min / metro: 10 min). All'alba, se vuoi comprare qualcosa, devi andare al negozio di comodità che è circa 15-20 min. Se siete viaggiatori notturni e attivi a turni notturni, potreste voler scegliere un posto diverso, altrimenti penso che questo sia un posto di bilancio per dormire. La mia stanza non aveva un asciugacapelli, quindi sii consapevole di questo divertimento. Oltre a alcune parti, mi sentivo bene rimanere qui, c'era un frigorifero e una microonde, quindi ho avuto un pasto latente, quindi questo era buono. Durante l'estate, questo sarà un po' duro, perché non aveva un condizionatore d'aria (o il ventilatore potrebbe darti un aria fredda durante l'estate; avevo un aria calda mentre viaggiavo in inverno).

I loved my stay here. It is a low-cost place in a local neighbourhood, and that’s what I was looking for. My room was clean and efficient. It is a bit weird in that there is no public signage and you have to read signs on the doors to find your way to check-in. Once there, the people who run the place are lovely. There is no elevator so I had help carrying my bag up the stairs to the second floor. Best to bring your own toiletries, but they have small packets of shampoo etc it you want them. I loved the fact that there were some food items left in the fridge - and I left some behind. Much more like a short stay in an apartment than a hotel. Great local restaurants and easy transit. I was attending a downtown conference and loved my place a $17 Uber away from the convention centre.

I stayed at this basement for five nights and I was very impressed by the quality and service. The basement was cozy and spotless, with a private bathroom and a comfortable bed. The location was ideal, just a few steps away from the TTC and the Bloor street, where there are many shops and restaurants. The host was very kind and attentive, always ready to assist me with anything I needed. I really enjoyed my stay and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and affordable accommodation in Toronto.

I recently hosted a conference at the Gibson Ballroom and the staff were incredibly flexible and attentive. Catering was amazing and the event staff made sure our every need was taken care of. I worked with Cathy, Kimia, Alla, and Kuga, and they were all very kind and professional. Despite there being an issue with heating, the hotel made sure proper measures were put in place to solve this issue. The event was a huge success!

Recentemente sono rimasto per due notti per un evento di lavoro all'hotel e l'ho amato. L'hotel è bellissimo e pulito, mentre è un getto di ritorno ad un'era diversa (come il getto di 1800). La stanza era grande, pulita, ben progettata. Il bar era grande, con sedie grandi e confortevoli, pareti di pietra esposte, e un'atmosfera accogliente e grazie Astrid per il grande servizio e risate. Sarebbe sicuramente rimasto ancora, nonostante non sia nel centro (ma è proprio in una fermata di metropolitana che ti porta a terra la linea Bloor, con molti luoghi interessanti per saltare e esplorare).

Provando di nuovo la mia mano a viaggiare a livello internazionale, ho deciso di usare questo hotel come il mio terreno di stivaggio. Il desk front stampa i miei documenti di vaccinazione gratuitamente o gratuitamente, e la stanza era grande e molto pulita. Il bar era messo con persone interessanti e il servizio era buono, ma il hamburger era solo mediocre. La navetta era efficiente. Buono valore complessivo!

I’m a big fan of the Canopy brand in general, but I have a hard time loving this particular Canopy. It seems like it’s designed more to look great than to be great. For example, the electric controls next to the bed are unnecessarily complicated— there’s about 9 buttons to control different lights and shades and things, and it isn’t easily usable. You have to hunt through all of them and try to remember the difference between the sconce light and the halo. It’s needlessly complex and that makes it harder to use. There is also a motion-activated night light under the bed, so if you get up in the middle of the night, it shines a light for you, which isn’t great if your partner if sleeping or even if you yourself want to try to go back to sleep. The night light is hyper sensitive, so it activates even if you just lay in bed and dangle your leg down. And there’s no way to disable it. If you don’t want lights going off every time you get out of bed, you have to shove a pillow under the bed to block the motion sensor or cover up the light. I love the filtered water/ice stations (one of my favorite parts about canopy hotels!) but the ones I used here seemed a lot more temperamental than others. You have to hold your water bottle at exactly the perfect angle before water will dispense, but since there’s no instructions, you have to poke around til you figure it out. There’s no little shelf in the shower stall, so if you bring your own toiletries, you have to either put them on the shower floor or balance them on top of the wall-mounted toiletry bottles. I also didn’t love that there’s no door on the bathroom and only frosted glass around the toilet cubicle. The bed was great — very comfy — and the blackout shades were an excellent touch. Very convenient location, close to the subway. And the decor is beautiful, very sleek and bright. It just all feels like it was designed without any context of how a guest will actually interact with all these things.
