NO RESPECT FOR GUEST SAFETY OR PRIVACY A STAFF MEMBER ENTERED MY ROOM WITHOUT PERMISSION WHILE I WAS NAPPING, HE STOOD AT MY DOORWAY DEMANDED TO INTERROGATE ME ABOUT MY RESERVATION, DESPITE MY YELLING AT HIM NOT TO ENTER. I KEPT YELLING AT HIM TO LEAVE AND HE WOULDN'T. He only left because I started filming. They could have just called me or my wife whose phone numbers were on the reservation to clear anything up. SAFETY IS AN ISSUE The rooms do not have do-not-disturb signs available, and cannot be locked from the inside, so the staff members can just open the door when they feel like it and there's nothing you can do about it. THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE THEIR ONLINE RESERVATION system malfunctioned. Even though I checked in that morning with MY NAME AND RESERVATION CODE, the system gave me a key code to the door, I was in the room for 4-5 hours before they barged in demanding to know why I (a prepaid customer, who checked in and was all paid up, my details were in the system, who even called their support number because I had problems with check-in that morning and they still checked me in, I even paid an early check-in fee) had to PROVE MYSELF to them. I was refunded the night after calling to complain, but I am still with a bad taste in my mouth about this place. Cherry on top is PARKING NOT INCLUDED, so I paid about 600 NOK for under 24 hours of parking in the next door garage.

No staff in the hotel, cafe open 7 -16 and a vending machine, rooms were nice if you are travelling alone, good service over mail was provided.

This property was quiet and clean. And the dining room/ lounge area was like sitting in a tea room, very quaint. And the attached cafe had nice options and good coffee and tea.

It started well with calm and beautiful surroundings. It was easy to book. But if you want to change booking to longer( even though its empty) It was impossible to get ANYBODY to fix that. I got hold of one of staff and he said he would give me good price for a longer stay. Then total silence. So I had to pack in a hurry the same day my first booking ended at 28.12.22 and used the last days finding other accommodation. In the winter.......... But a nice looking place.

I am usually not very demanding, but this was not what I expected it would be. The hospital as nearest neighbor, no cleaning, really small - and a "fully equipped" kitchen with no oven. Didn't like the bed either. Nice people in the café, but that is not enough for booking this place again.

I stayed here for four weeks. Within walking distance you are in the center of the city and from the hotel you can discover beautiful running routes such as in Greveskogen. In the hotel there is a small bakery where you can quickly take something in the morning. I forgot to pack something when I left the first week and the management has ensured that the object was in my room a month later during my second visit.

Wilhelmsen promotes themswlves as an Apartment House. This itself brings some expectations on room facilities and size. Long story short; there is nothing superior to their Superior Rooms. It is clean and fairly modern but thats all there is. I would have expected at leas a couple of chairs, a real fridge and not only a mini-bar size one. The rooms are tiny. On the positive side; check in process is very smooth, fully automatic and you get all details by sms along the way. Brilliant and you dont need to stand in line for neither check in or check out. There is a code to enter the building and your room so no key. Only thing was that our code to the room didn't work the checkout-day but I'm sure that would have been fixed had we bothered by letting the staff know. Mediocre and very simple breakfast, but you could have it in the very cosy backyard. (Watch your food for seagulls). The bakery in the cafe looked amazing by the way, and I had to turn on all I had if discipline to avoid buying all of the delicious pastrys they had. Conclusion; cosy nice place away from the city spectacle with clean but very small rooms that unfortunately takes the total impression down considerably.
