호스트는 친절했으나 전체적으로 호스텔이 부지런히 운영되는 느낌이 없었습니다. 료칸을 저녁에 예약했으나 해당 시간에 방문하자 다른 사람이 이용을 하고 있어 이용하지 못했습니다. 료칸이 주기적으로 관리되고 청소되는지 걱정되는 부분이었습니다. 아침 주문 시, 방송 촬영이 있어 게스트에게 크게 신경쓰지 못하는 것 같아 아쉬었습니다. 위치가 도쿄 중심지에서 꽤 멀고, 주변에 다른 가게나 시설들이 없어 불편한 점도 많았습니다. 방과 공용화장실은 깔끔하게 관리되어있으나 좁고 답답합니다.

Our stay at Andon Ryokan was a great experience for all of us (two grownups + one teenager). Sleeping on tatami mats was surprisingly comfortable, and we all enjoyed the relaxing top floor bath. (So can you, if you are OK with four flights of stairs...) The rooms and the common areas are all thoughtfully furnished and laid out with attention to detail. We especially liked the manga style illustrations in the shared bathrooms. Breakfasts were plentiful, tasty and beautiful (both the japanese and western style choices) and the orange juice straight from the peel was especially delicious. Staff were helpful, patient and knowledgeable. We would love to come back for another stay and recommend this family run ryokan to everyone! PS! the airconditioning was a necessity as Tokyo enjoyed + 33 degrees celsius all through our stay...

Although the room was rather small, it accomodated beautifully my daughter and me including our belongings. Due to its peaceful surrounding and considerate guests we slept very well at Andon Ryokan and enjoyed the delicious breakfast immensely. The staff is friendly and attentive and has fantastic English skills. The shared rooms like bathrooms and toilets were very clean, as were the rooms. We enjoyed our stay at Andon Ryokan and recommend it warmly to fellow travellers!

We stayed at Andon Ryokan in Tokyo for four days and had a wonderful experience. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The breakfast was very good, and the entire place was spotless, well-maintained, and beautifully cared for. Highly recommended!

Very convenient and affordable place to stay in Tokyo. Close to the subway. Smallish but comfortable room with shared bathroom. Very clean. Well thought of. Just wish the breakfast time was extended by a couple of hours. Lovely and helpful owners...

We stayed here for two nights and had a great time . We were checked in by Taka who helped us a lot with his suggestions on things to do. The place is close to station walking distance and Tokyo is well connected so subway is your friend to explore. We did Asakusa walking and thus explored the downtown feel of Tokyo. The room is Japanese style and tiny but it’s Tokyo so that’s how it is :) Even though the size is snug they provide you with all amenities , even Yukata and Nice Japanese reasonably priced Bf set. Bathrooms are plenty so you will not have to wait and they are stylish.We could see the passion and pride the family has running the place. If you like art you will have plenty to see on walls and don’t miss the Jacuzzi experience, after sightseeing it was a perfect way to end our day. Thank you Taka and family for your warmth .. we will always cherish our time in this cute stay.

This is a family owned business. The owner, Toshiko, is also the chief breakfast chef cooking both Western and Japanese breakfasts (you order a day ahead). Located in a residential of Taito -accessible to bus and subway. Walking along the side streets -lots of family owned eateries offering the best of authentic Japanese home cooking. Toshiko, and her son, Taka, make all guests feel at home. My son liked to have Natto (fermented beans) do Toshiko stocked up on the item since many guests are not familiar with it.Rooms are clean and sane goes for bath facilities. On site washer and dryer than can do big loads. Would definitely make a return visit. A great experience!

A good introduction to Tokyo in a quiet area a bit away from the hectic centre. A good selection of traditional Japanese breakfasts, helpful English speaking staff. Recommend the Lyphard bar above Minowa station for drinks and light food for the end of the day.

In July 2023, my wife and I booked this hotel for two nights, and this hotel made it one of our best experiences in traveling in Japan. As a Ryokan, sleeping on the ground and dining on the Japanese table (you can also choose a normal table) with Kimono was great. The best part of the hotel was breakfast and dinner. Make sure you reserved dinner as well. I am sure our dinner on those two nights was one of the best. In General: The toilet and bathroom are shared on each floor. The room and other amenities were clean. The location could have been better, but you need to make sure how you will shuttle in Tokyo in your plan.

Excellent location. Close to subway. Great cultural experience as well with authentic Japanese breakfast offered daily. Shared washroom facilities and shared access to a hot tub. We loved our stay here Room is very small with little more than room for luggage and sleeping. Bedding rolls away so you can have space to hang out.

Risposta dalla struttura: Thank you for posting. In February, we renovated the 2nd floor "Urashima Shower" and the 3rd floor "Kaguya Shower" and restrooms. The shower room is equipped with two shear heads and a rain shower so that two people can use it, so you can use it 24 hours a day whenever you like during your stay. The floor of the shower room is made of cobblestone, which was popular in the Showa era. I think you'll feel good on your feet and feel warm. The wall tiles are round mosaics with a retro feel, giving the second floor an atmosphere of being under the sea. On the third floor, I used my favorite colors to create brightness and warmth. By the way, I did the mosaic of the bathroom by hand. it was fun. We look forward to your next visit.

Highlights - Very cozy! The staff were so kind and helpful, and helped us call a taxi and explain 2/6 people in our party were riding with all of our luggage to our next place of stay. - 25 min walk to Senso-ji Temple. Easy peasy. - The futon was comfortable and we had a good night's rest every day for sure. - Japanese breakfast set was fantastic. You have to order ahead at reception or using the room phone. They use seasonal ingredients/dishes! Western breakfast also available. - Super efficient use of space, and really clean bathrooms despite sharing per floor. - They provide sandals for use inside the ryokan. Tips - There is no elevator but you can use the dumbwaiter to send up your luggage, then receive it on that floor, which was very handy. - Book your time to use the private spa/jacuzzi on the top floor before you go out for the day because the reception closes around ~10:00p. If you haven’t been to an onsen or public bath, they have instructions posted. - Many Japanese accommodations (and malls) blast the heat in the winter but if it gets stuffy you can crack open the window easily and safely.
