Quintessa Hotel Tokyo Ginza

Cons: This is definitely not a 3 or 4 star hotel, more like 2.  The lift smells like cigarettes. Smoking room is near the reception; which means the reception also smells like cigarettes. Rooms are dusty, which is a problem if you have allergies. The room is extremely tiny even for two people. No proper breakfast. Pros: very good location, max 10 min walking to any Ginza landmark or amenity. There is a Starbucks and an excellent French bakery next to it nearby. The 12th floor room was quiet for the location. Direct metro line to Haneda airport. Conclusion: For a one night stay, it was ok. Do not get the breakfast. Ensure that you get a great price compared to the competition in Ginza. If it is cheap and if you need to go to Haneda/stay in Ginza, great location.

The location is excellent! Just need to ride 1 train from Haneda without transit. Near the station. Surrounding by konbini, cafe and restaurants. Just walk few minutes to the centre of Ginza. Even the room is very small but it’s clean. Definitely will stay here again if I go to Tokyo.

Due to a severe snowstorm, my flight was canceled, making it impossible for me to check in. I had booked two nights, but despite never staying even one single night, the hotel refused to refund even a single cent, hiding behind their rigid policies. A customer-friendly hotel would offer at least a partial refund or an alternative solution in cases of unavoidable natural disasters. However, this hotel showed absolutely no flexibility, no empathy, and no willingness to accommodate its guests under exceptional circumstances. A snowstorm is beyond anyone’s control, yet this hotel prioritizes money over customer satisfaction. If you ever face an unexpected situation, don’t expect any support from them. Booked for two nights, stayed zero nights, received zero refund. This is not hospitality – this is pure greed.
