Hotel a Timbang Lawan, Indonesia

Ho prenotato un tour degli oranghi con Bobi di ecolodge a bukit lawang. Avevamo a disposizione solo tre giorni. Appena arrivate a Medan ci è venuto a prendere il nostro driver. 85 km 3 e mezza di viaggio. Arrivate al lodge ci hanno dato la possibilità di cambiarci per l'escursione in giungla, lasciare le valige al deposito e anche una cassetta di sicurezza per gli oggetti personali. Poi con Idris la nostra guida del tour un ragazzo impagabile, per la serietà, disponibilità, professionalità e con Kiki il suo aiutante, abbiamo iniziato il trekking. Esperienza bellissima, faticosa ma ben ripagata dall'incontro con gli oranghi e da una natura incontaminata. Notte in un campo tendato innriva al fiume con cena squisita a lume di candela. La mattina dopo abbiamo camminato nel fiume per tornare al lodge e non è stato sempre facile, ma le guide sono state di aiuto prezioso, sempre con estrema attenzione su tutto. Pranzo e poi rafting. Prima volta per noi tre, donne di mezza età ma qui Idris e Kiki si sono divertiti più di noi, facendoci fare completamente salti tra le onde. Naturalmente sempre in sicurezza. Serata al lodge con una buona cena. Le camere grandi, pulite e con terrazzo, in mezzo al verde ed al silenzio. C'è un ponte sospeso che divide il obese dal lodge e la mattina presto è facile incontrare i macachi. Carino anche il paese. Poi di nuovo drive e partenza per aeroporto. Faccio i miei più sentiti complimenti alle guide e a Bobi che ci ha permesso di fare un esperienza indimenticabile.

Ottimo posto per soggiornare con vista e camera e personale molto amichevole. Ha fatto il tre giorni di viaggio da qui. Abbiamo visto un sacco di scimmie e il cibo che abbiamo avuto la sera era così delizioso. Anche colazione. Quando siamo tornati all'hotel, abbiamo soggiornato un'altra notte per dormire un po' prima del volo il giorno dopo, e il personale ha aiutato a organizzare il trasferimento aeroportuale.

Il mio soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. Le camere sono grandi e non ho avuto alcun problema di avere la base. E' lontano dal lato più occupato di Bukit Lawang, quindi si adatta perfettamente a quello che stavo cercando - un po' di distanza, di mattina tranquilla, e più vicino alla natura. Obiwan è stato più utile dall'inizio per aiutarmi a organizzare il mio trasporto al lago Toba. Il cibo è anche buono, così come il tratto della giungla organizzato. In gruppo, è stato solo i cinque di noi rimanendo al pub. Mentre il treno sembra una routine per la maggior parte degli operatori di alloggio/di viaggio, il modo in cui abbiamo gestito il nostro è stato molto soddisfacente. La gente che ho incontrato è diventata finalmente miei amici, quindi è un posto per persone che potrebbero voler collegarsi con altri. I miei migliori apprezzamenti,
