Hotel in zona Old House of Yan Xiu, Tianjin

We checked in at the ”Somerset Olympic Tower”, late Saturday night. This, as another branded hotel, disappointed us greatly, due to basic facilities not being available (we checked out). Upon arrival at the Somerset Olympic Tower, we were warmly received, by the front of house. Special thanks to ”Avery”, for her hospitality and for making us feel right at home, much appreciated. Note: Check in and check out, was effortless and prompt, the way it should be. Thank you. Our suite was exceptionally well equipped. A well layed out kitchen, with major (Fridge, Washing Machine) and minor appliances (Microwave) as well as cutlery and crockery. (Everything you need, for a long or short stay). The dining room had a table and chair set, suitable for family or friends. We enjoyed the lounge area as well, the sofa was comfortable and the area is well organised. There is an office area as well, should you require the use of a desk. The bedroom has a on suite bathroom, equiped with a bathtub / shower combination. We found the bed to be comfortable, with quality bedding on it. The suite has numerous windows, with clear city views. Breakfast (buffet) was excellent, with a great selection (Western and Chinese Style). The facilities are on international standard. Guests can enjoy a fully equiped professional gymnasium, and a heated swimming pool during their stay. Overall we were extremly satisfied with the service received, the facilities and the meals. We look forward to visiting the ”Somerset Olympic Tower” often, and in the near future.

Infrastrutture: tutte le strutture hanno lavanderia in ginnastica, il primo piano ha i dati di giorno, il secondo piano ha il porto numero otto, molto conveniente Salute: la sala è tranquilla, la catena dell'hotel, la grande marca di Vienna è tranquilla Ambiente: il complesso è molto comodo, il primo piano guarda molto bene. Servizio: il servizio di ricezione è molto buono, ci sono esigenze soddisfatte in tempo, in generale è molto più forte di un hotel di 4 stelle. La prossima volta avrai la possibilità di soggiornare due volte

This was our last two nights at the hotel. Once again it has a lot of potential, but lack of attention to detail made it a so-so stay. SOUND: Sound insulation from outside is great. Can’t hear the cars etc at all. Sound insulation from inside the hotel is terrible. You can hear every word and movement from whoever is staying next to you. CLEANLINESS: To start off with the room is beautiful and clean, but it doesn’t get cleaned properly during your stay. I had to ask for water, tea, clean cups and glasses every time. The trash can wasn’t cleaned till I asked for it the last day because it was so full. So depending on your expectations and what you can deal with you might not find it that irritating. The hotel is very nicely located close to a lot of things, the bath is great and clean, there is enough hot water with great water pressure.

In the past two days, I went to Tianjin for a trip and chose The Westin Tianjin Hotel. The experience was very good. The senior members within the group are also well taken care of at Westin. Especially the lobby manager, Angel, who was very patient with the elderly, left a deep impression. I hope to have the chance to visit Westin again.

Outstanding hotel. Staff and service excellent: polite, friendly and super helpful. The room is much bigger than comparative hotels and the amenities in the room were excellent. The bathroom is the star of the show however. It’s almost an extra room with an amazing bathtub and view. The bath salts were a great addition, it’s amazing how many other hotels don’t provide them. Breakfast is small but more than adequate, enough to get started for the day and I enjoyed the bar at the top with live music at night. My only, very small, critique is the swimming pool and gym were a bit confusing. Overall an amazing hotel and I will definitely stay again. My #1 for Tianjin by some distance.

L'hotel si trova a pochi passi dalla stazione di metropolitana di Anshandao, che è molto conveniente per me. La stanza è pulita ma l'hotel dispone di poche strutture. Come viaggiatore con un numero limitato di cinesi, solo pochi membri del personale possono comunicare in inglese, ma hanno un servizio. Li hanno organizzati e mi hanno trovato un guidatore che capì l'inglese di base.

It is in the middle of Tianjin downtown where the city started to be a major cosmopolitan in China. Many legendary places are within walking distance. Looking forward to visit this hotel in the future.

Tutto è vicino a piedi o a metro. Ho soggiornato cinque notti e quando visiterò Tianjin in viaggio privato di nuovo, resterò di nuovo lì.

Questa volta, la grande camera da letto del lago del Tianjin Palace Palace è stata scelta, e l'esperienza complessiva è leggermente insufficiente. In termini di isolamento del suono, c'è un certo spazio di sollevamento, il suono esterno è più facile di entrare nella stanza e influenzare il riposo.Inoltre, per colazione, il tempo di chiusura è troppo presto, può essere difficile per alcuni ospiti godere del tempo appropriato. Tuttavia, capisco anche che l'hotel possa affrontare sfide migliorate in alcuni aspetti.Spero che l'hotel possa prestare attenzione a questi problemi, mantenere adeguatamente le strutture della stanza, migliorare ulteriormente l'effetto di isolamento acustico e regolare ragionevolmente l'ora di chiusura del colazione. Quando si aspetta un nuovo soggiorno in futuro, ci sarà un'esperienza più soddisfacente.
