Thrissur: hotel a 2 stelle

Clean room, ac double room, guest bed available but no bedsheet or pillow for guest need to ask house keeping not daily wise. I have been there 4days but not even one day they come for cleaning. I don't know why. Is it because we booked. Any way they don't care about there rooms.

Stayed at the property for 2 nights. Location of the property is very good, just about 5 minutes drive to thrissur round. It is city center, just opposite to jubilee mission hospital. Few things one should before booking on this property is, they have only rooms. Rooms are not very big but manageable, if only 2 people. Very clean rooms, excellent housekeeping, only mineral water is provided. No tea/coffee or milk in the room. But provision is made down the corridor. So if are in habit of having coffee/ tea immediately after brushing, one has to walk down the corridor, where all ingredients are very neatly kept in a tray ***** with electric kettle. You can make coffee/tea & take it to your room. Another thing is they don't have room service. One has go to the restaurant on the 1st floor. The restaurant is open from 07:30 a. M. - 10:30 p. M. The food is excellent. I have been a fan of navy a food since many many years. My reason to book at this property was good food & good location. Hence expected good experience. Staff is very friendly & humble ( don't expect professionalism) and slow. The one most important thing i didn't like about the property was - on both the days, when we went for breakfast to the restaurant, cleaning was in process, the area near wash basins ( they 2 beautiful standing wash basins) was so wet as the lady was mopping, i feared i might fall. Also on the first day, we had sit & breakfast in an area in the restaurant as cleaning the floor was in process. The 2nd day we were greatful to have got a cleaned area to sit for breakfast as they were cleaning the other half of the restaurant. My point is, when breakfast is served from 07:30 a. M, the management should ensure that cleaning is already done. As a customer, i wouldn't want to sit is unclean area, smelling the phenol and having my breakfast. Your cleaning & housekeeping is good, but please learn to mange the time without offending customers. This also effects the ambience. Clean restaurant before opening to customers ( the staff were not even apologetic about this as maybe it's an everyday thing for them )

They claim to be following international standards on their website (see screenshot), but it's far from it. Firstly, the main issue was that NOISY events were held late into the night. This is highly inconsiderate of the other guests in the hotel. Even my friend on the floor below us could hear it. If someone wants to have such an event, they need to book them into a different space, or just tell them it's not possible. Cleaning staff seem to ignore their own hotel policy. Stuck on the back of each room's door, is a sign that basically says we'll only clean your room if you hang the ”please clean” sign. Didn't do this, came back to see they'd been in. The next day, hung the ”do not disturb” sign, and they still came in!!! Didn't even leave hand towels, or top up toilet paper. We were always out all day, and literally only used the hotel for sleeping, so no need for the rooms to be tidied regularly. Also very frustrating because they are touching your belongings that you leave out, not expecting anyone to come into your room. The gym has a window that faces the road, which means passers by just stare at you working out. Not ideal for females, or anyone wanting privacy. Shower area doesn't have a door, so water splashes out sometimes. Bathroom in general is small and tight. Toilet paper holder in a really awkward spot. We take the toilet paper off so it's easier to use, but they keep putting it back on (ignoring the visual cues to not clean the room). Hairdryer doesn't work. No room service menu, or general information inside the room. Don't even know what number to call to get reception, as there's no list of phone numbers. Wouldn't help anyway, as the phone seems plugged in, but doesn't have a dial tone. Only one power socket between the two beds. The other sockets were on walls no where near the beds. Also, there are people who smoke inside the hotel. It should be mentioned on the website if it's a smoking one. It's absolutely disgusting, and the poor ventilation means the smell lingers. Staff have all been quite pleasant though, and always helpful. Unfortunate that some of them don't seem to follow their own rules.

Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole, utile, e andò sopra e oltre per garantire il nostro comfort. La stanza era pulita/spaziosa/comfortabile con tutte le attrezzature necessarie. Ci è stato particolarmente piacevole.Colazione. Il [hotel ha prestato attenzione ai dettagli/contatto personale/eccellente servizio clienti. E' chiaro che l'hotel privilegia le esperienze dei suoi ospiti e si sforza di superare le aspettative. [comfortabile/luxurioso/relaxante] soggiorno. Non possiamo aspettare di tornare e sperimentarlo di nuovo!

Superb experience at merlin staff are very friendly and helpful. Food quality is also worth. Overall a very paisa vasool experience. The reception and the manger help us a lot trough out our stay. Great thanks to all staff. Loved the stay here.

Buona soggiorno. Buona camera e personale! ma nessuna attrezzatura, nessun cibo. Il cibo può essere gestito da sviggy o zomato o fuori. Ma almeno non c'è caldo per fare tè o caffè o per acqua calda. Ciò era molto necessario.

Buona posizione. Distanza passabile al tempio vadakkunathan. La stazione ferroviaria è a circa 1,5 km, sembra buono dall'esterno e dalla zona di accoglienza. Le camere sono solo medie. Il bagno non era pulito come previsto per il prezzo. L'illuminazione è un grande svantaggio. Io e mia moglie non piaceva la luce.

I felt this hotel is good. Very close to vadakkunatha temple. The staff are also good and helpful. it would be better if they shift the entrance to the local bar in the ground floor away from main entrance to the hotel.

The place is right on the road. Easily accessible. We checked in late night. Service was good. The rooms were ready. Neat and clean. Kettle was provided.
