Hotel con colazione inclusa a Thetford

A small market town on the A11, Thetford is very handy for Norwich and the East, and Premier Inn Hotel Thetford puts everything in easy reach. From Norman castles to Newmarket Racecourse, there's plenty to see nearby, and some key business venues too. The outdoor scenes for Dad's Army were filmed in Thetford, and the Dad's Army Museum is well worth a visit while you're here. Or if you want to see a chart-topper, there are some great gigs at High Lodge Forest nearby. After a fabulous day out, come back to the hotel for lovely food at our restaurant and a great night's sleep in a comfy bed.

My wife and I have just spent a lovely three nights staying at the Bell Hotel in Thetford. We booked a superior room and we were not disappointed. Our room was huge, complete with a four poster bed, large balcony and a perfect view of the statue of Captain Mainwaring sitting by the river. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel building itself could possibly benefit from some additional maintenance, although we appreciate it’s always going to be a work in progress with such an old and historic structure. We stayed on a bed and breakfast deal and the breakfast each morning was superb. A good choice of cooked breakfasts, I would recommend the eggs royale, along with the usual continental choices, including fresh berries and yoghurt. Ample parking is provided in the hotel car parks. The first area, next to the beer garden, is smaller, but there is further parking a few yards down the road so we did not find parking an issue. Guests of the hotel may park for free, after updating the system at reception. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we hope to be able to visit again soon.

As a family we have visited The Thomas Paine twice now, once for Christmas lunch and once today for a joint birthday meal. Both times they have gone above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable, and that our needs were being met. All staff were welcoming and friendly, checking in with us and making sure we had everything we need. Nothing was too much and they always made us feel at home. Today they even opened up their kitchen just for our table as they remembered us from Christmas. When it was time for cake all the staff members came in singing happy birthday and it was just a lovely atmosphere. I feel it’s the extra things like this that really make The Thomas Paine worth visiting over and over. Cannot rate them highly enough and would recommend to all.
