Hotel in zona Monument of the Pontic Greek Genocide, Tessalonica

This hotel is so clean and friendly. The rooms are small but oh the beds!! So comfy i didnt want to get up. The bathrooms are also small and not a lot of room to move about but adequate for one :) the room was made up every day. We had a balcony that again small but adequate for 2 to sit out on. This is a city break hotel. There are no beaches near by, it would be 35 mins in a car to the nearest. We spend 6 nights here. We found a lovely place called the AVENUE by the umbrellas design. It had amble seating outside and was very popular by locals. It overlooked the sea, we recommend going here if you want to relax. The breakfast was continental with some hot food but not much, scrambled egg and mini sausages. There was no toast !! The breakfast choice for us was a little disappointing so we did not go on 3 days of our stay. For those who like to have a kettle, bring your own as there is no room facilities. Luckily mum had bought her travel one and tea bags !! There is a small fridge in the room too. We had a comfortable stay here and walked so much as there is a lot to see here. Restaurants are plentiful nearby, just across the road 20 steps away is a fab restaurant Kanoula that was perfect.

The Antigon Urban Chic Hotel provides definitely one of, if not, the best hotel service I have ever received. Unlike the big 5-star chains, this hotel provides 5-star plus service but with a much more personal touch. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff and this continued throughout our stay. It was service with a smile and nothing was too much for the staff there. On one of our days during our stay, we had an early morning excursion and we asked if we could take one or two things from the breakfast room with us. The hotel team went one step further and put together a fantastic breakfast box for us (top tip: let them know the morning before what you would like and they will put all your favourites together).They really are very accommodating and most helpful. This is not just the breakfast team who are great but also the front of house, the bar staff and the housekeeping team are a credit to a wonderful, well designed, well furnished, modern hotel. The rooms are well equipped and kept spotless as is the rest of the hotel. The breakfast has a good range of food and don’t forget to look down through the glass floor in the breakfast room. One last thing is the location. It’s the perfect starting point for visiting many of Thessaloniki’s sights and a short walk to Ladadika and the seafront where you have some great bars and restaurants. Don’t just take my word for it. Look at all the fantastic reviews they have had. A stay here is certainly one you will love.

We stayed here for 4 nights as a base for visiting Thessaloniki. The hotel is well located on a busy central street. If you want to use the airport bus, it stops right outside. Our city view room was modern and clean, with good facilities. We had a comfortable big bed, fridge, safe, air conditioning and a bathroom with a large shower and a full range of toiletries. There was a coffee machine in the room, you could buy pods if you wanted to use it. The electric blinds were blackout blinds, so the room was nice and dark at night. The windows were effective at keeping out the noise of the traffic. The only issue with the room for us was that after the recent hotel renovation, you still cannot put toilet paper in the toilet, you have to use the bin next to it. Breakfast was good with a big selection of food including cereal, fruit, bread, meat, cheese, hot items, cake and pastries. The staff were helpful. There was a rooftop bar with a good view over the city. I would certainly stay here again if I return to Thessaloniki.

Quando ero in viaggio d'affari, mi interessava solo una stanza tranquilla da recuperare, il ricevitore mi ha rispettato la richiesta e, ancora di più, ho avuto l'opzione di un checkout tardivo a nessun costo aggiuntivo. La pausa era molto buona, l'unica cosa che mi disappuntava è stata le bevande di succo di sciroppo di calex (in Grecia!). In generale sono molto felice del mio soggiorno, anche se la ridecorazione che si svolge intorno alla zona di lobby dà una strana prima impressione :)

Siamo stati a 3 notti in questo hotel a pochi passi dai principali siti turistici di Salonicco. E' vicino a una strada principale, quindi la nostra camera di fronte era piuttosto rumorosa, talvolta tardi alla notte. La stanza era di dimensioni ragionevoli e si aperse a un piccolo balcone. La signora ci ha accolti in modo amichevole e ci ha fornito molte informazioni sulla città quando ci siamo reclutati. Il colazione era molto buono, ma non ci è stato colpito il primo mattino, quanto il cibo fosse stato preso da un gruppo di viaggi a lungo termine e c'era un considerevole ritardo per riempire; non vi erano problemi simili nei giorni successivi. Nonostante l'hotel sia a 15 minuti a piedi dal mare, siamo riusciti a fare divertimenti alla Ladadika ogni giorno sulla strada di ritorno. Questa è una zona davvero buona per una buona scelta di cibo e bevande a prezzi molto accettabili. L'hotel è anche conveniente per il porto di traghetto. Salonicco è certamente valsa qualche giorno di soggiorno e ha un paio di musei davvero buoni moderni. Noi certamente considereremmo l'Hotel Anatolia se dovessimo tornare.

We needed 2 hotel rooms for one night In Thessaloniki close to the airport to catch a morning plane as we were returning from Thassos on the way to the UK. Rotonda was very affordable, easy parking and had really nice, clean and comfortable rooms with everything working. Very nice breakfast and breakfast area. The staff were very nice practical and helpful. The area is quiet so we got a good nights sleep. Cannot recommend more given the market positioning and price.

Ho soggiornato nella stanza 202 per 1 notte, gennaio 1, 2023. La mia stanza era situata sul piano principale con vista sulla strada principale interstatale. Il mio letto aveva due letti gemelli molto confortevoli che potreste spingere insieme. C'era una TV con remoto, piccolo frigorifero, ufficio e solo un controllo remoto per il riscaldamento. L'hotel dispone di una piscina all'aperto, servizio di navetta aeroportuale gratuito, bar e ristorante per il colazione mattina. Ho dovuto lasciare molto presto, quindi non potevo avere colazione. Altre ordinazioni di cibo sono messe al bar. Ho dovuto chiamare qualcuno dal ufficio del lobby, altrimenti nessuno stava mandando la zona del bar. La loro lasagna greca era molto buona e molto riempita, lo consiglio molto. La stazione di servizio è vicina. La zona principale del lobby dell'hotel era molto pulita e il personale era molto piacevole. Bella soggiorno breve.

Hotel carino in un ottimo luogo. Persone calde e amiche camere letto e asciugamani super puliti. Nessun colazione fino a tardi nella stagione, ma caffè negozi a un minuto di distanza. Meno di venti passi alla spiaggia con molte taverne e piccoli negozi. Se potessi fare una proposta, sarebbe bello avere una calda calda in camera con qualche tazza. Ci siamo trasferiti solo una notte, così rimarremo a passare più tempo all'Avra Hotel e goderci i super ristoranti e bar di fronte alla spiaggia. Grazie al personale per la sua gentilezza.

L'hotel è comodissimo per l'aeroporto: 10 minuti in auto. È situato in una zona dove non c'è nulla e non è così facile da trovare, nonostante il GPS. Questo perché la strada di accesso non è particolarmente visibile ed il cartello con le indicazioni dalla strada principale (Peraia-Salonicco) è coperto dagli alberi e non è illuminato di notte. La camera vista mare che ci hanno assegnato era spaziosa, con un letto molto comodo ed una bella terrazza. Anche il bagno è spazioso e fornito di un bel servizio cortesia, accappatoi e ciabattine. Peccato per questa moda delle docce aperte: regolarmente si bagna dappertutto, soprattutto il pavimento che diventa così pericolosamente scivoloso!!! Il personale alla reception, al bar ed in sala colazione è stato molto cortese ed efficiente. Ottimo il consiglio del concierge di lasciare l'auto al parcheggio Ikea e raggiungere il centro di Salonicco in bus. Il traffico è da delirio!!! La camera era ben pulita. Abbiamo usufruito della colazione il primo giorno: ampia scelta sul buffet e prodotti di buona qualità. Il secondo giorno siamo partiti molto presto e ci hanno fornito una colazione ” al sacco” da consumare in camera oppure da portare via. In camera c'è il bollitore con the e caffè. Alcune pecche per un 4 stelle: 1) il lavandino in bagno con crepe e scheggiature proprio non si può vedere. 2) L'insonorizzazione è pessima e dal corridoio si sentono tutti i rumori 3) In terrazzo si sente il puzzo della cucina 4) mancano le istruzioni sul funzionamento della cassaforte in camera. Cmq una buona esperienza ed un prezzo adeguato.

Στο ambassador hotel κάναμε τη δεξίωση του γάμου μας και όλα ήταν ονειρικά! Πρώτα απ' όλα, ο Πάρης και οι άνθρωποι του ξενοδοχείου μάς εντυπωσίασαν με τον επαγγελματισμό και την καλοσύνη τους. Έπειτα, το φαγητό δεν θύμιζε σε τίποτα τα κλασικά μενού που όλοι λίγο - πολύ έχουμε φάει (ναι σε αυτά τα ταλαιπωρημένα και ξερά κρέατα αναφέρομαι και στον καταθλιπτικό λαπά για συνοδευτικό). Πεντανόστιμες σαλάτες, θεσπέσια ορεκτικά και ζουμερό κυρίως (όλα σε σωστές θερμοκρασίες παρόλο που είχαμε γύρω στους 130 καλεσμένους)! Η τούρτα ήταν από άλλο πλανήτη και η εξυπηρέτηση δεν θα μπορούσε να είναι καλύτερη, αφού από κανένα τραπέζι δεν έλειψε νερό, αναψυκτικά και ποτά. Εμείς δεν κάναμε τίποτα, όλα ήταν άψογα - συντονισμένα και κανένας καλεσμένος δεν μας παραπονέθηκε, τουναντίον δύο εβδομάδες μετά, βρίσκουν ακόμη τους γονείς μας και τους λένε πως ποτέ ξανά σε γάμο δεν πέρασαν τόσο ωραία. Το ambassador τα συνδυάζει όλα: τοποθεσία (μια καταπληκτική πισίνα σε έναν ολάνθιστο κήπο), ποιότητα και ποσότητα (το φαγητό ήταν εξίσου - για να μην πω πιο νόστιμο - από το δοκιμαστικό που κάναμε), ευγένεια και κυρίως επαγγελματισμό και αγάπη γι' αυτό που κάνουν. Μεγάλο συν, μας διέθεσαν τη σουίτα για την πρώτη νύχτα και φτάνοντας από τη εκκλησία μας έφεραν φαγητό στο δωμάτιο για να τσιμπήσουμε κάτι, μέχρι να έρθει η ώρα να φάμε κανονικά. Σας ευχαριστούμε μέσα απ΄ την καρδιά μας που κάνατε εκείνη τη μέρα μοναδική και αξέχαστη και ευχόμαστε τα καλύτερα!
