Coral Gardens on Grace Bay

Went to Coral Garden in May of 2024 and ten yrs ago.(same Room). We loved it back in the day but this trip was a little disappointing. I will share the good parts first. The employees that great you and help you to your room are awesome. Friendly and kind.Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The somewhere bar was great, Bartenders are fun and make good drinks. How ever the wait staff were horrible, Unfriendly and bad service. The one day we did decide to eat in the dining area the waitress walked up and tossed a coasters on the table that had the option of scanning the code on your cell for the menu. Didnt say anything and walked away. Then 10 minutes later came back and said are you ready. Seriously!! So rude. I said i would prefer a regular menu. It took another 5 minutes for that. Then I asked about the special with the bottles of wine. She said let me see, I'm not sure. She didn't come back so we went to the bar. What a joke. Don't recommend eating there,but the bar area is fun. So back to the room. Beautiful view and clean. The big issue is they are building a very large resort next door. So there was so much banging of metal and the noise of the machines we could not enjoy our balcony until they left for the night. So i would recommend staying on the other side of the resort. That was a real bummer. The balconies have nice chairs and a large table. The chair service on the beach was nice. Snorkeling is the best. It has become very populated and many people that walk by unfortunately stop and use the chairs. The staff dont keep an eye on this ,but they are always there if you need clean towels and are friendly. If you decide to walk the beach and want to go through any of the big resorts to the main road you cant do that. Just fyi. The smaller resorts let you. Another tip. The airport is small and with the new hotels and growing construction in this whole area the process through security and checking in takes 1.5 hours roughly, but thats on a Saturday. During the week is most likely slower.

Simply the best! The location can't be beat, easily accessible to Grace Bay, less than 15 minutes to the airport, 3 minutes to the grocery store, and of course the best part - 50 steps to the beach, including a reef! The condo is updated, top amenities, and perfect views of the beach. The bed and showers are heavenly. The staff makes the entire experience too! Jerome and Jahim (tend the beach) are personable and truly make it a great experience. Heidi (housekeeping) always has a smile on her face! Nahomi at Somewhere Cafe makes the BEST Mojitos (trust me, all the ingredients are fresh and incredibly delicious). Verne and Tyler in the office are always quick to help and super friendly. If you can snag a room in building 1 or 2, (the best IMHO) you'll have the dream vacation in paradise you hoped for!

The unit is on main level of building with limited ocean and pool views . The unit is in good condition and is cleaned daily. Friendly helpful staff, especially property manager Tyler, were always checking on us if he saw us out and about. The Coral reef is right in front of Coral Gardens great fish views. Great sunset dinners at “ Somewhere “ with good food and bar. The only negative was the noise from the construction next door but we appreciated the discount the owner gave us, helped soften the noise. (construction from 7-6 Monday - Saturday but if your busy during the day you will miss most of it)

This was our 3rd time at Coral Gardens - 2nd time in suite 4203 and are currently booking our 4th trip there. We love the quiet pool, having Somewhere Cafe onsite, the wonderful staff, snorkeling right off of the beach, the amazing views and having a full kitchen. The Pool: our son loves that he almost always has the pool to himself. Somewhere Cafe: great to grab a bite to eat after a long travel day or get frozen happy hour drinks....the DJ on Sunday afternoon is always a bonus #sundayfunday. Staff: Tyler and Verne in the office; Gerome, Jerome, Moise and Wesley at the beach and all of the housekeeping staff - they are all fantastic and will take care of you from the moment you arrive. Snorkeling: We love being able to snorkel whenever we want - my son spends most of the trip underwater looking at all the fish swimming around him (hoping for a shark....but alas....no). We don't need to take a boat, worry about weather, etc...we just do it when it works for us. View: Every morning I jump out of bed to open the deck doors and see gorgeous Grace Bay. Ocean front isn't in our budget at many resorts, so we are thankful for everyday at Coral Gardens. Kitchen: We taxi to IGA and get groceries for breakfast, lunch and snacks - plus drinks and we are set. We don't want to waste precious beach and ocean time sitting in a restaurant, so being able to go up to the room to eat quickly is key for our family. You will need to rent a car or take taxis to get most places, the only downside is that it isn't very walkable. It will also be interesting to see what the new resort next door does to the neighborhood...hoping it doesn't change things.

My family of four (two adults, two kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coral Gardens, unit 4302. Our host Leigh was warm and welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed to be prepared for our one-week trip and have a great time - excellent advice on what to bring, restaurants, and island activities. She genuinely cared and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The unit itself fit our needs perfectly and the ocean view from the balcony is post card perfect. Grocery stores are nearby, and we put the kitchen to good use, making the most relaxing breakfasts and cooking up fish caught on one of our excursions. We visited all of the beaches on the island, as well as on North and Middle Caicos (a rental car is highly recommended), and I have to say the beach just a few feet away from us at Coral Gardens is one of the best for swimming and snorkeling. Boat excursions for snorkeling, fishing, and sunset cruises pick you up right on the beach; you don't need to drive anywhere for that. I will wrap up by saying something about Scott and Besma in the main office - they were there every time we needed something, be it advice or extra towels. Besma saved us so much time by helping us set up our excursions and day trip to the other islands. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent care and clean every day with fresh towels. All staff are carrying and the fresh coconuts are the best. Check in and out quick. AC is nice and cool. The 4 cats at the property are super cute and in exchange for cat food, they give you all the love.

Wonderful condo with stunning views and we were greeted with a rum punch. The condo itself was very clean and offered plenty of comfortable seating, the beds also comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Somewhere Cafe, steps away, offers a delicious menu too. Would book again - highly recommend!

Just returned from an amazing time in Provo. We love staying at Coral Gardens. Room 4101 is an absolutely beautiful unit. Extremely large and private for everyone. Updated huge kitchen, tasteful decorations, modern, comfortable and accommodating. Large updated bathrooms with great working AC in all rooms. The location cant be beat for walking directly out of the unit onto the huge patio with multiple outdoor living spaces with direct access to the beach and pool! You cannot go wrong with this unit, its truly amazing! Coral Gardens is a splendid resort with the perfect location on the beach for swimming and snorkeling. The resort is well maintained and the stuff is absolutely incredible! It's still the little Gem of the Island, so relaxing and intimate yet everything you need is available, no place we rather stay. It's so nice to see so many of the same staff we have known for 19 years still there! Thank you to all for another magnificent vacation!

Beautiful condo with all the amenities! Beach was short distance from our room (4203) and very clean. All guests are guarenteed lounge chairs and umbrellas. Jerome makes sure of that! He was the BEST! Tyler was super helpful and informative. The noise from the construction was annoying since I love to sit out on the deck every morning but that is not the fault of the condo association. Although, I do think they should be upfront at the time of booking. Regarding the island, Coral Gardens does sit on the end of the Grace Bay ***** so getting to and from the center of town to all the majr shops and restaurants requires a car or taxi. From our first day, we had a taxi driver named Liddy who gave us her number to call personally and she became our driver for the week. She was reliable and informative as we drove through the island. Bring cash....most taxi drivers do not have credit card capabilities. The beach in front of the condo is one of the best I have been to (and we've been to many islands). the snorkeling is AMAZING and right off the shore. You can walk up to you knees, throw a mask on and peek in the water and you feel like you're in an aquarium!! Highly reccomend Coral Garden!!!
