This home is the place for you and your family. Relax in our lovely private home with fabulous 180 degree sweeping ocean and mountain views. We are located in the famous Mauna Kea Resort on the Westin Hapuna Resort side. Situated in a gated cul-du-sac with only 2 homes, it provides a quiet environment for your visit. Two sides of the house are surrounded by a green belt of native plants behind which is part of the golf course. There is a 2 car attached garage for quick access going straight into the laundry room and kitchen. Great for unloading. This home offers three bedrooms comprising of two king master suites with lanai access and an Ohana (meaning family) which is a large separate bedroom with two twins that convert to a king upon request. The Ohana with its separate entry inside the court yard has a game table, mini refrigerator, sink, microwave and cable TV. Each bedroom has its own private full bath with an additional dedicated 1/4 bathroom for guests and family. Our home comfortably sleeps six people, but we can squeeze in another with our blow up bed. All bedrooms have cable TV. A separate media room contains a 47 inch flat screen TV, home entertainment system with Blu ray/DVD player for those who love that. There is free wireless high speed internet. Please let us know if you plan to zoom as Spectrum on our island can have it's challenges. As of 7/14/2025, the status is as follows from hotel management:-There is currently no impact to outdoor facilities such as beach and tennis.-There is currently no impact to dining facilities (please see work at Hau Tree described below)-Closure of some hotel rooms which will be remodeled in phases. Original tower remodel that began in April 2024 is complete. Per the Mauna Kea, the remodel work commenced on the beach tower in February 2025. Rooms in the beach tower will be unavailable until completion which is targeted for Labor Day 2025.-Construction of a new spa and adult pool area behind the Buddha statue and north of Manta restaurant. As of 7/14/2025, construction is in process. According to the Mauna Kea, the pool is expected be completed in the fall of this year. The spa is not forecasted to be ready until 2026. The existing spa will be open until then.-Upgrades to the existing pool area and relocation of hot tub. This project will require closure of this area sometime commencing February 2025 with expected completion Labor Day 2025.-Upgrades to the Hau Tree bar, restaurant, and kitchen. Per hotel management, the Hau Tree bar will remain open with uninterrupted service. The restaurant kitchen is temporarily housed on the patio with seating moved to the grass area near the stairs. The new kitchen is targeted to open Labor Day.-Mauna Kea Golf Course has reopened with fairways fully replanted, greens fully replanted, green complexes and bunkers reconstructed, and removal of approximately 25 bunkers throughout the course. The layout of the course has not changed.-Relocation of fitness center around the lower courtyard of the hotel is expected to take place in the spring of 2025. The existing fitness center remains open.-Hapuna Golf Course fairways will be replanted with paspalum (same as Mauna Kea) starting in spring 2025.
