Hotel Spencer

I booked in advance on make my trip, upon arrival I was terrified by the look of the shady location which had dreadful accessibility (dangerous roads/paths) leading towards the place. Terrible customer service: When i arrived at the hotel reception the three reception staff was giggling on their phones and took a couple mins to pay me attention. Scam: When I showed the reception staff and hotel ***ager the booking confimation they then told me I would have to pay an additional Rs.1000 per night and blamed make my trip saying they haven’t updated their prices and refused to check me in. I called my travel agent who made contact with make my trip and make my trip informed us this is not the case and the hotel would have to honour the pre booking. The hotel still refused to check me in. The travel agent then had to call make my trip again who called the hotel. WASTING Almost 2hrs in the hotel lobby. In the end I finally got checked in. I WAS LATE FOR A MEETING: The room when I entered was appalling no hygiene cockroach and bug attraction kinda place. Dirty towels and bathroom mats feet marks. Stains on bed sheets and covers. In the end my friend helped me find another air BNB and I checked out that same evening. When I complained The hotel ***ager told me I got the best room available. I wish I took pictures but I was so distraught stressed and upset. Please BEAWARE.
