The Jaffa Hotel, Tel Aviv

came to celebrate B-day during difficult time in Israel. A 500$ room per night, hotel failed to inform that due to situation all facilities are closed - spa, bar, pool etc. place practically deserted. Mini bar in room empty. Worst was dinner at restaurant - started with being served a different wine then we ordered, 2 starters came after half an hour wait, then another 90 minutes went by, noone cared, we asked for the manager who told us to go away. we left restaurant and checked out of hotel (weren't even asked why we are lea ivung after a few hours) we will never return. Appalling

Big disappointment! I arranged to celebrate my husband's birthday for a weekend at a good hotel. I booked a room with a balcony. We arrived on the day of the reservation at 12 noon, there was no parking at the hotel. (It's a story to find parking there. When we arrived at the reception, there was a long line and only one receptionist was working.) Everyone complained that they had not encountered such a wait. After half an hour of waiting, they told us to get out of line because they only accept guests who were leaving. We waited like that for 3 hours until they accepted us and claimed that the employees were sick. We went to the pool and there was no room there either. A tiny pool and everyone was on top of each other. At four o'clock we got the room and went to sleep but we couldn't because there were constant car horns outside. We called the reception several times but no one answered!!! In short, a useless weekend. Very high price and tiny return.

We are very disappointed with our recent stay at The Jaffa Hotel. I got engaged in Israel and chose to spend the final three days of our trip at your hotel, expecting a luxurious and memorable experience. Unfortunately, we deeply regret that decision. From the moment we arrived, the service was far below expectations. The staff was inattentive, and our room was poorly cleaned after each service. We experienced issues from day one until check-out — including a complete lack of responsiveness and professionalism. One of the most disturbing incidents occurred when I stepped barefoot on a dead bird on the property grounds. We immediately reported it to a staff member, who saw it, did nothing to clean it, and responded by saying, “We are all going to die.” This is not only unacceptable but deeply inappropriate and alarming. In addition, our room keys never worked — not even once. We had to go down to reception every single time we wanted to access our room and ask for them to be reset. For a hotel of this standard, that level of inconvenience is unacceptable. What was meant to be a joyful and meaningful close to a special trip became frustrating, uncomfortable, and frankly shocking. We expected far better from a hotel of this caliber i have videos of the poorly cleaning of the room but cant attach them here
