LLukeTW86The Westin Tashee Resort in Taoyuan was an excellent getaway. The property is a little bit o it of the way, but it was well worth the trip. The service and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked on amenities. We had a good view of the mountains. The best part of the resort was all the activities and the pool. The outdoor pool was clean and just the right temperature. There was an open bar from 8:00 to 9:30 that was fun and had performers. Lots of
Activities for kids as well. My only criticism would be the quality of the food in the buffet. While they had a lot of options, including western food, it was in my opinion poorly executed for the price. We tried both the dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet. For example, the eggs were too watery, the bacon not crispy enough during breakfast. Dinner the meat was dry. High points of the buffet is the selection and the Indian food. Surpassingly, the lobby bar (cafe?) had a great club sandwich, and was the best meal of the stay.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel is easy to find and very accessible. The area is close to the train system and other public transportation. There are also many malls and restaurants around. The hotel is on the 5th floor of a bank. Check in is at 3 pm but you can leave your luggage with the staff if need be.
The hotel and rooms are ”Hello Kitty” designed. Quite quaint and very colorful. The front office, however, is a bit dark. There are free water fountains. The room is a bit tiny but manageable. There is a free water bottle and hot water kettle. The room is nice and cool. The area at night can be a little noisy due to the traffic in the area.
The bedsheet we had had some small holes and some of the towels are tattered on the seams.
The internet rarely works but there is free internet by the 7-11 area downstairs.
TV works. There are some english channels.
If you are looking for a cheap short stay that gives you a base to roam around , this is ok.

MMazlin TeoEnjoyed my stay and one of the best breakfasts I had so far. Very convienent 10 minutes away from the station and 5 minutes from the Night Market. Room is very spacious but has minor cleanliness. TV is accessible to YouTube. The rooms are all very interesting so you won't be disappointed!

Check in time was 3pm but we were able to check in at 12 since there were vacant rooms at that time, which, I appreciate it since other many hotels in taiwan strictly don’t allow us to check in before the check in time. The hotel has free shuttle to the airport and with train station beside it so its also quite convenient to transport to taipei 101 or ximen. I gave 4 stars for the amenities is because maybe the hotel is kinda old, the woods in the cabinet is peeling off, maybe they should consider renovating some of the equipments in the room. But overall, everything was so nice there, especially the airport view, it feels so relaxing seeing the airplanes taking off, and the soundproofing was also nice, we havent hear any noice through the day.

E l’ascensore che va all’hotel non è separato, quindi puzza di sigaretta. Ma in generale, la stanza è così pulita e buona con il suo prezzo. Inoltre, si riempie acqua e altre strutture dal lobby che è a pochi passi dalle stanze. Ci sono anche kiosk per comprare bevande, e una microonde nel lobby per riscaldare i pasti acquistati dai ristoranti o dai negozi convenienti.
