Hotel in zona Dasi Old Town, Taoyuan

The Westin Tashee Resort in Taoyuan was an excellent getaway. The property is a little bit o it of the way, but it was well worth the trip. The service and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked on amenities. We had a good view of the mountains. The best part of the resort was all the activities and the pool. The outdoor pool was clean and just the right temperature. There was an open bar from 8:00 to 9:30 that was fun and had performers. Lots of Activities for kids as well. My only criticism would be the quality of the food in the buffet. While they had a lot of options, including western food, it was in my opinion poorly executed for the price. We tried both the dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet. For example, the eggs were too watery, the bacon not crispy enough during breakfast. Dinner the meat was dry. High points of the buffet is the selection and the Indian food. Surpassingly, the lobby bar (cafe?) had a great club sandwich, and was the best meal of the stay.

Pls assicura la prenotazione dell'hotel Bentley e non dell'hotel Benz. Questi 2 hotel hanno una grande differenza.

Although Room is old but clean and spacious. Hotel Staff Kay is very friendly and helpful. She recommended one of the best goose we ever tasted. Quite a walking distance from the near by train station.

The room was abit smaller than expected, due to the location the hotel was full. Went there to check in at 4pm and the room wasn’t ready. Only got the keys at 5plus and I’ve booked the room with windows but they gave me the one without. Since it was just one night stay, didn’t want to change anymore as I was tired from my flight. In the evening while I was having my dinner in the room, the table lamp just busted in front of me and the glass almost went to my face! Was quite disappointed with the stay here. But location was great!
