Pontal dos Carneiros Beach Bungalows

We came back here after 2 years because we loved this resort so much. They’ve made some changes, but, while it’s still an incredible place to stay, it didn’t live up to our first stay here. We stayed in an upstairs bungalow, and while it was the same size as the bungalow we stayed at last time (a ground floor unit), this unit was a bit run down (I believe they are upgrading units, but the hotel staff put us in an un-renovated one). The king-sized bed was very comfortable and the accoutrements were all very attractive, but the sofa in the room had the most unfortunate and offensive stain on it—it looked like somebody did a “Biden” on the couch, or Mr. Hankey had visited the previous tenants (“Howdy-ho!”). The Jacuzzi’s controls did not work (it was a pretty old unit, but large and still usable). Additionally, the chambermaids’ station was located at the bottom of our stairs, so they spent the majority of the morning below our room. I wouldn’t have minded this so much if there were no other rooms vacant, but there were. We asked the receptionist if we could switch rooms, but we were told that we would have to pay an additional fee, but the receptionist said she did not know how much it would cost and that we had to come back later for her to tell us how much it would be. When we came back, she said it would cost an additional R$390 for the night, so I declined. Why didn’t she know how much the room would cost? Not to sound whiny, but if a hotel has a vacancy, I don’t see why they wouldn’t give an open room to a guest who was unhappy with their present room… The employees were almost all very friendly and helpful (our chambermaid was very pleasant, the waiter Renato was great too; the receptionist who helped us at check-out was the height of professionalism and charm (sorry I don’t remember her name)). The bartenders at the pool bar and the waiters in the hotel’s restaurant were also perfect. Upon arrival, the hotel provided us with a welcome coconut water and a complimentary bottle of spumante (the last time they also included a fruit plate, but not this time; however they did give us a nice jar of cocada made at the hotel when we checked out). Breakfast, which is included, was very good! They have a variety of cakes and breads, fruits and condiments; shots of specialty drinks, juices, coconut water and teas available. Hot dishes include omelets, tapiocas with your choice of filling, and even eggs Benedict.

Small, personal, beautiful resort on a quiet and beautiful beach. Our bungalow was 3-bedrooms with a private pool - beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the towels thick and fluffy, and you could watch Netflix on the TV. Also the WiFi was very good. Breakfast was a small buffet plus made-to-order eggs and smoothie bowls - all of it great. We had dinner and lunch at the resort as well - many many options and it was all fantastic. Not one meal was disappointing. Its a resort with a nice attention to detail. The number one best thing about this resort is the staff - truly amazing people. All of them were so very friendly, attentive, and helpful. My husband tore his achilles heel while were were there and the manager of the hotel and owner were simply amazing - they arranged transportation to the hospital, delivery of medications, delivery of crutches, and staff were constantly checking how we were doing and if they could help. We are so very very grateful to the wonderful staff at this resort.

E aqui voltamos mais uma vez. Esse lugar é um verdadeiro paraíso e para completar hospedados nesse Hotel maravilhoso. O atendimento é sempre excelente. TODOS os Funcionários sempre atenciosos, educados, discretos, e prontos para ajudar e satisfazendo a hospedagem em todos os sentidos. Para quem deseja paz e tranquilidade e momentos intimos essa experiência é aqui. Obrigada a Ricardo e seu TEAM e todos do Restaurante por nos proporcionar jantares românticos maravilhosos. E parabéns para a grande COZINHEIRA que nos fez saborear comidas deliciosas. Ela cozinha com amor e vê-se no sabor e na decoração dos seus excelente pratos. Os caldinhos e aperitivos deixavam meu marido de água na boca. Desejamos um ano de muito sucesso para todos e se Deus nos permitir voltaremos em 2026. Pousada maravilhosa, cordialidade, limpeza, organização da pousada, alimentação boa, limpeza duas vezes no quarto e vários mimos durante a estadia, e no check out saimos na madrugada e tivemos todo o auxilio para nossa saida! Estavamos com um bebe de 4 meses e tivemos privacidade para curtir a familia

Nem sei por onde começar! A recepção foi maravilhosa. Chegamos no quarto e tinham havaianas nos esperando, exatamente na nossa numeração. O bangalô com piscina privativa é espetacular! Roupas de cama, banho e os produtos de banho da Trousseau impecáveis. A cama é maravilhosa. Chuveiros interno e externo excelentes. Os atendentes Gustavo, Washington e Juliana foram excepcionais. Cada cuidado com as indicações do café da manhã, a reserva de mesa no último jantar, os mimos da pousada durante a hospedagem no quarto e na piscina. Simplesmente sensacional! Não vejo a hora de voltar.

Incrível !! Quarto maravilhoso, especial em todos os detalhes . Decoração linda , super aconchegante ! Piscina aquecida privativa , super charmosa . Restaurante ótimo ( café da manhã delicioso ( ovo São Benedito e o bowl de açaí foram os meus favoritos ) , jantar ( muqueca de frutos do mar ) maravilhosa , não podendo esquecer da cocada de forno com sorvete ) . Funcionários super atenciosos e prestativos !! E ainda nessa praia maravilhosa !! Adoramos e com certeza voltaremos muito mais vezes !!! Ana Carolina Valença Collier
