ROOM: The location of the bathroom and toilet, outside the room in the corridor, is not private and a bit scary especially if needed at night, when you are in night dress.
SERVICE : A scary club-car driver blocked us the way out of the room to force us to pay for his club-car service, while the reception later told us that this club-car service was free.
While we complained about it at the reception, the receptionist called several drivers, and asked us to identify that bad one, just like in a police station !!!
FACILITIES : The very few slopes (only 5) were very disappointing for us. This ski resort is only suitable for beginners. The view from the very top of the mountain is really not impressive as promoted in their advertisements.
FOOD: Fair.
STAFF: Not much smiley, but as often in Kazakhstan.

A beautiful mountain resort within the city proximity - approximately 30 min drive! The road is comfortable, there is number of activities on the site: horse back riding, cable car to the top of the hill, mountain bikes, kids playground. I definitely recommend this resort among my faves in Almaty but I have to be back to check the accomodation and dining ops! They say you can book a room that is ... on the tree! Go there by car, taxi, public transport (check if it's operates on the day you travel). Feel free to check more videos and photos on insta YasmineOfJuly

We have been 3 years in a row and this year they have surpassed themselves! What a comedy of error! The whole stay was an utter disaster. Appalling service. Staff had no idea what they were doing. Rude and totally ignore foreigners as they assume we don’t speak Russian. We went on a school business trip and the service was so bad that it was really embarrassing. They overcharged us, lied to us regarding some bookings. I will not go ever again. Overpriced. Food is terrible. Such a shame as it is a beautiful spot with so much potential. I would waste my money. Go to Shymbulak instead

Лучший горный отель! Отлично провели отдых со второй половинкой, жили в домиках на дереве, шикарнй опыт, белочки бегают, очень вкусные завтраки! Успели покататься на троллее, погулять по территории, насладиться воздухом)
